Chapter 4:
Cassia's POV:
*Two Weeks Later*
Today is the first day of school and my first day at Brillington Academy. I am both nervous and scared in these two weeks I managed to save enough money and buy the exact uniform as everyone else. At least they can't say anything about my clothes. I get up out of bed and head for the shower hoping it would calm my nerves. Once I'm finished I put on my white button collar shirt followed by my tie, vest and my paid skirt. Lastly my blazer (Picture on the side) and shoes, then I head to the mirror and start on my hair. Luckily Lucy had fixed it up this past weekend so it was easy to style it in my usual wavy way. I applied a little makeup and then gave my self a once over and was quiet impressed with how I looked. I grabbed my bag that was so light since I have to pick up my schedule at the office and my books up at the school bookstore before class. I headed downstairs were Emily and Aunt Millie were both having breakfast.
"Caswia!"
"Hey butterfly did u sleep well"
"Yes I dwid"
"Cassia are you excited?"
"Yupppp"
After eating some toast and drinking a cup of apple juice I was out the door. I decided it would be best if I took the transit system to get to an from school and Aunt Millie agreed. It took about thirty minutes but some I was walking up towards the schools entrance. I stopped right in front and just stared, this school is huge. In front of me was a building that without knowing it was a school you would think it was castle. The outside had a very traditional castle like appearance it was a grayish brown with high peaks on top of tower looking points (Picture on the side). The entrance doors were two huge mahogany double doors with steel knobs the size of a baseball. It had and intricate design thru the wood that gave it mystery . After what seemed like forever I got the courage to open the doors and walk inside. The minute I did It felt like I was in another universe. It was definitely nothing like public school especially not my old public school. I easily found the deans office right in front and made my way there.
"Excuse me"
"Hello dear, how can I help you?"
"My name is Cassia Lane, I'm a new student and came to pick up my schedule."
"How wonderful we have been expecting you. Now I will get all your papers together while you speak to the dean he is so excited to meet you he told me to send you right in when you arrived. Please do go right in."
*Knock Knock*
"Come in."
I open the door and step inside I immediately notice the huge bay window to my left and the amazing view of what looks to me as the school garden. I then notice a desk and behind it a man of maybe 50 years old. His hair is graying but not balding which I must say is good for his age. His face although aging you can see he was once a handsome young lad.
"Yes, how may I help you?"
"Hello, my name is Cassia Lane. I'm a new student."
"Ah yes please dear come sit I am very pleased to meet you."
"Thank you sir"
"So we'll mannered, very impressive. Now I would like to extended to you a full congratulations on be half of the school. It is not everyday we accept new students in their last year of school but with your academic achievements we are completely honored. I hope that you will excel here as you did in your last school and would also like you to know that we are all here for you and are ready and willing to help you if you so need it."
