^^^^DAISYS OUTFIT^^^^

I was walking into the house expecting it to be full of pack members milling about and doing the everyday chores they were assigned but when I walked in it was empty. I turned down the familiar halls in the direction of his office when I smelt it. I turned just as he sat up from his sitting position on the stairs where he was...waiting?

A confused look quickly took over my face and before I even asked he was answering.

"What? Didn't think I'd smell my own sister walking down the driveway?" I was shocked to say the least. He had grown up exponentially since the last time I seen him.

Granted that was 3 years ago now.

I couldn't even form words, I suppose I resemble a fish out of water right now with the amount of times I was opening and closing my mouth trying to find the right thing to say.

There wasn't any 'right' thing to say other than sorry and that wasn't leaving my lips anytime soon by the looks of it.

He sighed before letting out a sarcastic laugh, running his hand down his face out of frustration.

"No hello? I mean I that's fitting when none of us even got a goodbye 3 years ago."

"William I-"

"3 YEARS! That's a long fucking time Daisy! Do you have any idea what you have done? What you did to this pack?! To him!?" he went to step forward but I stepped back and sighed, throwing my arms up. Already sick of fighting and I've barely said 2 words.

"ALRIGHT! I messed up okay! But guess what your all still alive aren't you?!" he shut up as soon as I said it. A confused atmosphere settling in around us now.

"What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean?" I sighed before leaning against the couch behind me.

"If we're going to do this then I need a drink." He went to speak again but I just clicked my tongue and pointed in the direction of the alphas office.

"I'm only doing this once, so let's go in their where pops keeps his liquor stash and where everyone else can hear it too." He looked taken back before I realised he wasn't following so I turned and reiterated my words,

"Are you coming or what? We haven't got all day, baby brother." He pulled the finger at me when I said baby brother.

"Oh come on! Only by 2 minutes and 14 seconds!" I laughed over my shoulder as he quickly followed behind me.

"And don't you ever forget it." He growled and I just blew him a kiss back over my shoulder. This should be fun...

When we got to the entrance all joking was put away and his face looked worried yet stern, he grabbed my hand as I went to open the door – effectively stopping me before I could go any further.

"What's the problem William?" he sighed then said something I was expecting but still didn't want to acknowledge until the very last possible second, suppose this is it.

"Aiden's going to be in there Dais, he-he's different since you last saw him...just be careful what you say around him." He looked...scared? almost and I would be lying if I said that it didn't unnerve me.

What did I expect though right?

I grabbed his hands gently before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Don't worry, my mess is my responsibility. Whatever happens you need to stay out of it okay?" he went to argue but I tightened my grip, "I mean it Will! He's your alpha and I wont have you getting in trouble for me. Not anymore." He sighed before nodding but not looking happy at all. In fact now he looked beyond pissed.

I took one last breath before opening the door and that's when all the chatter stopped. They wouldn't have heard us because the walls in here (including the doors) are sound proof so me showing up here with Will is a slight shock.

I had an impassive look permanently planted on my face as I surveyed the room, all my closest friends were in here along with some random girl, my mate and his parents. Something must have happened- oh yeah, I was here and their guards had probably warned them as soon as I crossed onto pack lands.

"What the hell is she doing back here? I thought she was dead?" this coming from mystery girl. I didn't like her. I knew that much already and she's barely spoken. I growled along with almost everyone else in the room apart from my mate and his family. It hurt to be this close after so long but not being able to run to him and just bury myself in his comforting embrace.

I don't care if it was petty but I used my telekinesis to pull a strand of her hair eliciting a squeal from the beast herself. Everyone was trying hard not to laugh but still had expressions of shock about them.

"What the hell!?" everyone ignored her but I did see a twitch of Aiden's lips out of the corner of my eye as he tried not to smile. It made me feel like there was hope between us no matter how small but I knew it was going to take more than a little prank to get him back in my good graces. A lot more!

My best friends approached me first, she had tears in her eyes and a huge smile spread across her face as she pulled me into a bone crushing hug. I sighed in relief before returning the gesture just as enthusiastically causing both of us to chuckle softly.

"I've missed you and your charming self around these parts miss Thomas." I laughed and squeezed a little harder before pulling away and taking her hand,

"Oh but I missed you and your elegant self even more miss Brentwood." she cracked a smile again before getting serious.

"Goodluck sis." I nodded in appreciation before turning back to our audience with a very wary look about myself.

First up was Anna's (best friend) mate, Austin. He came over reaching his hand out and resting it on my shoulder, I reached up and squeezed it in return.

"Welcome back Daisy, still cheeky as ever I see."

I smirked, "Of course. Life would be hopelessly boring otherwise now wouldn't it Austin?" he chuckled and ruffled my hair,

"You got me there Dais." He went and stood beside Anna who still had a tight grip on my other hand.

Next up was some other close friends from the pack, Max, Jacob, Emma, Lincoln and Laura. A few words were spoken as a brief catch up but if I was being honest I wasn't paying 100% attention, it being focused more on the brooding werewolf behind them all.

Aiden Brentwood. My mate. He looked up at me almost as if he could feel my eyes on him, the wolf in me growled when his piercing blue eyes bore into mine. In that moment I knew he could feel it too. The bond, our mate bond pulling us together, stronger than I've ever felt it before after 3 years apart.
