A Girl on Her Bike

I've examined myself as a writer,

I'm learning to ride a bike.

I thought of how I am,

I found I'm a little tyke.

I am slow to get started,

I don't really have "the flow."

I get on my bike,

Then slowly start to go.

I only keep going,

If I like my topic,

So because I like riding,

My bike, I'll never stop it.

I second guess my work

From the bottom to the top,

I second guess being able to start

and being abke to stop.

I think if new ideas

In the middle of writing,

I pop wheelies and do tricks

In the midst if riding.

Now you see

how I view myself

When I'm riding my bike

All by myself.
