Let me show you where it is. .
You know my loves fake, but my intentions are real.
Let me show you what it is.

I stared at the poem calculating what it  meant.
I saw Beth looking at me.
Staring at me.
She was weird, she was the creepy one in this school.
I remember Simon calling her 'A Freak.'
Actually she wasn't, thats what I thought.
Anyway,  my day started off bitter.
Not knowing where to start.
Firstly, my mom got rushed to the hospital, apparently overdose but she survived.
Secondly, My friend isn't here  making me wait outside the class staring at a poem.
Clearly this day couldn't get worse.
'Garrison Gard. ' a strange voice said.
I turned back and faced the person,  first examining the stranger.
Short hair and a round face.
He kinda looked like my brother.
'Uhmmm sorry, I'm new here. '
'My name's Chad. ' He continued.
So Chad, not too bad of a name.
I didn't want to introduce myself,  this guy is a stranger,  maybe he was being friendly.
'Nice to meet,  Chad? ' I said.
'Garrison Gard, he wrote this poem .'
He said.
'Im surprised, you into poetry? '
I asked.
'I actually write poem's,  for your information.'
He replied.
'Uhmmm, my friend is probably waiting for me,  see you around. '
As I left he took my wrist and said.
'Just don't be a stranger,  Mary.'
He whispered.
How did he know my name.
I wanted to ask him but then I realised I had my name tag on my shirt, which I completely forgot about.
I sighed.
'Does that mean you'll be bumping into me regularly?'
I asked smiling.
'Why would I do that?'
He asked.
'I don't know you tell me,  Mr Maulden. '
I replied.
He stared at his name tag,  running his finger to his surname.
'These name tags are definitely becoming a problem. '
He said smiling.
I couldnt resist laughing.
He was funny,  good looking and he was probably  intelligent.
'See around. '
I said walking into class.

     ----
The final bell rang.
What a day it was.
'She committed suicide. ' I heard as I walked to the gate.
I tried to listen further but that was all.
Maybe they were talking about something else.
'Hey,  have you heard what happened to Beth? '
Chante asked.
'No.' I replied with a questioning look on my face.
'She committed suicide. '
My heart stopped.
I heard something inside my head.
Telling me it's not hard to believe.
Why?
Because she suicidal,  when she was hanging out with us,  all she could talk about was suicide.
I ran.
I just had to get away.
'Mary,  where you going?'

----

I sat in my room.
Not moving a muscle as I listened to my favourite song.
Kaash paige- heartbreak
I could barely hear the song,  only pieces.
Is it because of  Beth.
I cried.
Feeling pain flowing through my body.
My tears was running.
'Stop it,  this is stubid' I told myself.
Maybe my dad was right I am and will always be the same person.
My dad passed away,  exactly a  year ago.
Which made me cry even more.
My earphones were still playing as I layed myself down on my bed.

----

I opened my eyes and it was dark.
I checked my phone and it was 21:57.
I was alone,  my mom was in the hospital.
Still.
I walked down stairs as I saw something laying on the floor.
'Betty, are you hungry? ' I asked my cat not expecting an answer.
I poured some cat food and nothing.
Betty was asleep,  fast  asleep.
I sat down on the floor next to Betty.
'Everything is going to be alright,  I hope,  don't worry. ' I whispered out.
I ran my fingers through Bettys thick fur while saying it.
I went to the fridge and saw mom left me a note.
Strange.
It read.

My daughter,  Take care.
Take care of yourself,  especially Betty, I wish I could stay longer in this world,  but Jesus asked me if I was ready and I said yes.
I will always love you.
Goodbye,  Mary.-
