Sammie's POV
Danny and I are sitting in the waiting room,waiting for the doctor. "Sammie Stewart and Danny Edge,the doctor is ready for you." The nurse called out. We nervously walked into Becca's room. She had a cast on her arms,legs,and some kind of neck brace. "How's she doing,Doctor?" I asked. "She's doing fine. She should be out by next week." He said. Danny and I did a sigh of relief. "Well,that's good..." Danny and I said in unison. The doctor left a few minutes later. "Hey,Danny,I'm gonna call Paul and tell him to come. I'll be right back." I said,walking into the hallway.
Danny's POV
"Why did you do it,Becca?" I asked her,with tears in my eyes. "You could've killed yourself!" "That was the point!" She said. "But why? You've always seemed like such a happy person!" I said,sitting next to her bed. Becca looked at me and sighed. "You just wouldn't understand." She said,trying to ignore me. I sighed. She obviously wasn't gonna tell me. Moments later,Paul walked in. "I came as soon as I heard what happened!" He rushed over to the side of Becca's bed. He looked really concerned. "Guys,can I have some alone time with Becca?" He said,tearing up. Sammie and I nodded. I grabbed Sammie's hand,and we stepped out into the hallway.
Becca's POV
I have no idea why Paul wanted time alone with me. He was probably gonna yell at me or something. But instead,he talked to me,very calmly. "Becca,please...never do that again." He said. Something was wrong with him. He was crying more than anyone else. "Paul,calm down. I'm fine." I said. He looked up at me,wiped away his tears,and smiled. "Yeah,I guess you are." He grabbed my hand. "Becca,can I tell you something?" Paul said,turning red. I nodded my head. He sighed. "I like you,Becca. A lot. And I was wondering...when you get out...will you go out with me?" I was shocked. Paul liked me?! I always had a crush on him...I guess I could go for it! "Yes,Paul. I'd love to be your girlfriend!" I said,smiling. He smiled. "Great. Well,I'll see you later. Visiting hours are almost over." He said,kissing my cheek. Then he left.
