I woke up to the sound of Usher "Yeah" playing on my alarm clock. I rolled over to hit the snooze button when I saw the time. It was quarter till 10' o clock. I had to be at work in 15 minutes.

I jumped out of bed and stepped on something fluffy and when I looked down I saw my cat Miley. I quickly stepped over him not phased by it because it is not the first time I had stepped on him.

I rushed down the hall and into the bathroom I quckliy brushed my teeth and did my make up. I had no time to do my hair so I put it in a messy bun. I hurried back to my bedroom and put on a flowery tank a navy blue sweater some denim jeans and a pair off flats.I ran down the stairs almost falling, I graved my purse of the couch and rushed out the door.

I was hit instantly by a wall of coldness. Despite my great desire to go back inside and drink hot coco I started walking twords my car. As I was driving I remeberd my boss , Jim wanted to meet up on my lunch break to discuss the new cheff I'll be training. That was the whole reason I had move to Califorjnia was to persue my dream to be a chef. Since I was  little that's all I had wanted to do was cook.

As soon as lunch break came I headed to my car and drove down the street to a little coffee shop around the corner. When I walked in there was Jim sitting in a little booth.

"Jim, Hi." I said as I walked over to greet him.

"Hello." He said whith a big smile as I held my hand out.

Instead of taking my hand he brought me into a big hug. I'd never think of him being an affectionate man. Jim was tall and bulky with big arms. As soon as he stopped bear hugging me we sat down and started discussing my new coworker.

"Thank you so much for helpin' me with the new cook." He said coughing into a handkerchief after words." Now," he said with a stern face " be sure not to upset our new client."

"I'll try my best sir." I said with a half smile.

"Good, 'cause her father is the owner of this business. Now, I'll see u tomorrow." He stood up and gave me another hug before walking out the door.

Later that night after work I walked over to my friend, Zoe's house. She lived just across the street. She was my first friend since I had move to New York. Instead of knocking I just walked in.

"Zoe." I yelled while walking through the kitchen.

"In here." She yelled back from the the couch.

"So how did your lunch go?"

"Um, okay."

"That's all you have to say is, okay."

"Pretty much."

"You suck at talking."

I put my and over my chest as if I was offended.

"Its true," she said with her hands up in surrender.

I walked over to the couch where she was sitting. She turned and looked at me with one of the wierdiest stares I have ever seen her give me. It seemed as if she was staring into my soul. Then she turned around and grabbed the remote. Now I knew what she was doing, Netflix. Just as I predicted she turned it to Netflix.

"What you wanna watch" she said with a huge smile painted on her face. She started scrolling through the romance section.

"Oh I know what about 'The Note Book'." I said joyfully hoping she would say yes because The Note Book was my favorite movie of all time.

"But we already watched it twice this week."

"Please just one more time. I won't ask your for anything else ever again." I said in a begging tone.

"Fine but only one more time."

"Yes!"

We started to watch the movie  and only ten minutes into the movie I started too cry. Even though I have watched it at least twenty times I still cry every time I watch it.
