Sorry this has been so long. Thanks to a supporter I decided to continue it :)

I began to rip his shirt off his chest. It seems so right, so magical, like it would be our first time. I had such a passion, such a drive, such lust... and I knew he wasn't opposed to the idea. But... something was wrong. I let my hands drop from his torso as I gently pushed him away. His eyes met mine and I saw the concern in them.

"What's troubling you?" I watched him, his movements, the flicker of his eyes as he contemplates on how to word his next sentence.

"Don't you understand?" He said, his voice raised considerably. I didn't understand why this was escalating so fast.

"No, Remus, I don't! Don't shout at me for something I don't understand!" I say, my voice strained.

"I'm sorry" he said, before slamming his back against the grass in defeat. He gazed at the night sky for a while before turning his head to face mine.

"Sirius, you're an animagus." he sighed before returning to look at the stars above.

I thought for a while about why this was so important.

After a good thirty seconds of silence, Remus finally exploded with impatience.

"Don't you see? You've already trained your body to transform in a specific way. This is bad, REALLY bad - Merlin knows how you'll turn out, but it's going to be dangerous. We NEED to see a doctor at St Mungo's. Your so-called mass-murder issue is all cleared up now, I -"

My distress at the idea must have shown; he stopped mid-sentence to look at me intensely.

"What is it?"

"...Remus," I began nervously, "you look down on me for disregarding facts, but if I were to see a doctor about this, they'd have to know I'm an animagus... The sentence in Askaban for that is two years, I can't, I just can't..."

His face paled rapidly.

"Oh, Sirius..."

I fell back onto my elbows, gazing at the moon that will soon control me once a month.

"It's hauntingly beautiful, isn't it?" Remus sighed, a silent tear cascading down his whiskered face.

I said nothing. I had nothing to say. I felt his hand slide up my face, through my tousled hair and then back down to my unshaven neck. His touch was cold, yet loving. I turned to face him. Tears were now freely falling down his face, into his robes and onto the already wet grass, yet still ever-silent. Nothing could be done. I felt no pain, yet no happiness.

For the night, we laid under our tree, face to face, chest to chest, arms and legs intertwined, not talking, not speaking, just breathing, hearts beating, souls living... For whatever time we had left.

Not sure when next installment will be up, but sometime within the next week is the plan. Thanks to everyone for your support. <3
