"Marco" yells a little boy from one side of the pool. It was a summer day in 2010 and 2 best friends went to the pool. "Polo!" yelled back the girl from the other side. The boy eventually catches up to the girl and laughs. They get out because the girl mom said it was time to go. "Walk faster Jenna!" yells the boy behind the little slow walking girl.

The girl name was Jenna and she is 6 years old. The boy name was Mattia and he was also 6 years old. Their birthdays were 1 day apart and their moms gave birth to them in the same hospital. Their moms are also Best friends. "Shut up idiot" said Jenna. Her mom glares at her and she says sorry to Mattia.

They get in the car and drive to Mattia house to drop him off. When Mattia got out Jenna mom got out and told her to get out too. They get out the car and they walked in the house. They told Jenna and Mattia what was happening. Jenna and her mom was moving away. Permanently. The 2 kids cried and hugged and begged to stay but they said no.

As Jenna was leaving Mattia grabbed her and handed her a heart necklace. "Always remember me. We will stay best friends no matter what. No matter distance okay?" he says putting the necklace on her. "As long as you wear my heart necklace I got you" she says handing him his. They smile and hug one last time as Jenna got in the car and her mom drove away.

*10 years later*

"Jenna let's go!" yells my mom from downstairs. My mom and I are going to visit my dad in New Jersey. My mom said we used to live in New Jersey so I didn't mind the visit. I run downstairs to see my brother Marion holding my baby sister Emmy. I walk and grab my suitcase and throw it in the car.

I'm now 16 years old and a Junior in high school. I live in New York with my mom, brother Marion and baby sister Emmy. My dad didn't want to leave his job so he goes back and forth from New Jersey to New York. We get in the car and drive to dad's house.

I'm playing around with a heart necklace on my neck. I don't remember exactly how I got it but I'm very attached to it and can't take it off. We get to dad house and I jump out and grab my bag. Marion pushes me to grab his. "Watch it dummy" I say rolling my eyes. "Shut up fatty" Marion replies. We walk to the door.

We open it and I go straight to my room. My dad will be home tomorrow he went on a business trip. "JENNA COME DOWNSTAIRS WE HAVE GUESTS" yells my mom from downstairs. I let out a grown and put on my nike slides and walk downstairs. There's 4 boys standing in the living room.

"Hello, I'm Jenna and y'all are?" I ask walking towards the living room. "I'm Kairi" replies a short messed up hair boy. "I'm Alejandro" replies a cute semi tall boy. "I'm Alvaro" replies another short boy. "I'm Mattia." replies a very tall boy. I know that name from somewhere but I don't remember.

"Nice names! I be back do ya want something to drink?" I ask tryna be polite. They all shake their heads and sit on the couch. I head to the kitchen as I heard them talking so I eavesdrop a little bit. I remember their voices so I can tell who is talking and whatever.

Mattia: I swear that's my old best friend! She's wearing the heart necklace I gave her and she gave me one too! I also remember the name Jenna guys!

Kairi: I don't know man.. It can just be a similar necklace no big deal.

Mattia: Fuck off Kairi! That necklace was from Zoomies! A store that closed down 10 years ago! Jenna moved away 10 years ago!

Alejandro: Shes hot.

Mattia: Shut up that's my best friend

Alejandro: She doesn't even know you exist!

Mattia: She promised not to forget about me!

Alvaro: Seems like she did sorry Mattia...

I finish listening but I don't believe I was best friends with him because I don't remember one thing of him. Besides I found this necklace in a box in the attic so i'm not really sure if it's from that store that closed down. I ignore it and walk back out to the living room.

Me: So.. exactly why did ya come?

Mattia: Oh just t-t- to say Hello.

Alejandro: t-t-to MAN STUTTER MUCH!

Everyone laughs, Alejandro is really cute even though I just met him.

Me: Well.. Hi!

Mattia: Where are you from?

Me: Well... I live in New York but my mom said I used to live in New Jersey a couple years ago but I don't remember anything.

Mattia grew a sad look on his face. I ignore it and just smile.

Mattia: How old are you?

Me: 16.

Mattia: So you remember nothing-

He gets cut off by Kairi

Kairi: Enough questions! We're gonna head out to go eat. Wanna come?

Me: No thank you imma stay and wait for my dad, but thanks for asking!

Kairi nods and heads to the door.

Mattia: So are you moving here?

Me: Nope. Just a visit!

He nods and they leave after saying goodbye. I run upstairs and look at my necklace. I don't believe that boy and I were best friends so I leave it alone and just take a nap.
