Rosalind woke up, feeling soft silk below her. She slowly opened her eyes noticing she was in bed at the inn. The pounding in her head reminding her of last night. She quickly pulled the blanket off her sighing in relief when she found herself fully clothed.

She stood up carefully, being mindful of her bare feet as she walked toward the bathroom. Jumping in to take a quick shower. She knew that if the pirates were following her they'd be hot on her tail. Once she splashed some water on her face, being mindful of the scratch on her cheek.

After getting dressed once again, she stepped into her boots and made her way down the stairs of the inn. She walked up to the front desk where the lady there told her that her stay had been paid for by the nice man that had brought her here.

She smiled at the thought of the stranger, she felt at ease when she was with him. She walked out of the inn still smiling like an idiot. If she were to set off now she'd reach Brita before nightfall. Her plans were thwarted from the growling in her stomach.

Rosalind lightly skipped through the market of the town, looking for something that would soothe her aching stomach. She stopped in front of a small cart selling an assortment of fresh fruits. She smiled lightly as she picked up a mango. She grabbed a few remembering they were her sisters favorite. She was about to pay when a man with ash blonde hair stood next to her. He hadn't noticed the way the girl stiffened next to him, but Rosalind recognized that ashy blonde hair. It was San, the medic that had tended to her when she was sick. She quickly paid for the fruit, shoving them into the bag next to her. She thanked the salesman and walked away.

She cursed to herself as she walked further from San. Her heart beating wildly when she noticed him staring at her. She hid herself in a small alleyway praying he wouldn't come this way. Her heart dropped to her stomach when he started walking towards her. She noticed his hand resting on the hilt of his sword.

Rosalind had to think fast. There was a man walking down the alleyway. Before she had time to process what she was doing, she grabbed his wrist and pushed him against the building. Smashing her lips against the mans.

San walked down the alleyway just to turn around in disgust and walked away. Rosalind pulled away from the man, pulling her hood over her face to hide the mad blush spreading across her cheeks. The man just stared at her as she apologized profusely.

She quickly left the man there dumbfounded. She walked, well, more like ran to the stables to retrieve her horse. She almost fainted when she noticed a group of five men standing with their backs to her. A man grabbed her shoulder from behind and excused himself as he joined the other group of men.

She recognized the loose white blouse and smooth jade earrings from the man in the alleyway. She basically squawked in surprise when he turned to look at her. Staring back at her with wide eyes was Wooyoung.

She quickly turned around and pretended to look at the wall that was covered in whips saddles. Her face was the colour of a cherry tomato and her heart was beating so loud that she swore they could hear it. She placed her hand on the hilt of her dagger when she felt a hand grab her arm.

Rosalind pulled her arm from the man's grip and dashed for the streets. She could hear them yelling behind her. She didn't care, it only urged her to move faster. She didn't need a horse, she couldn't make it there on foot. She bolted for the forest knowing she'd be able to lose them in the dense fog that surrounded the lush green foliage.

She was about to make it to the clearing when she felt a pair of hands wrap around her waist and pull her backwards. She shrieked and pulled out her dagger. Aiming at any open skin she could. She didn't know who had a hold of her but she couldn't hear the rest of her pursuers so she knew it was just him.
