Chris' POV

The sun was starting to peak through the window shades. I didn't have a nightmare last night, instead I had a dream about me and Steph. I carressed Stephanie's cheek, watching her as she slept. I never opened up to anyone the way I opened up to her last night.

She was comforting and loving in a way I haven't experienced in a long time. In her sleep, she threw her leg over me. I smiled at how comfortable she was with me before getting up to go make coffee.

She was awake pretty soon. "I have the biggest headache", Stephanie complained as she walked into the kitchen.

"You want asprin? I made coffee", I replied from the kitchen table.

"Oh, no. I'll get over it. It's probably just from all the noise last night", Stephanie started, as she poured herself coffee.

I sat down eating my cereal and asked, "But you had fun?"

Stephanie turned to me, rolling her head then asked, "Are you kidding me? I think that was the most amazing night of my life! It was perfect." She turned back around to put sugar in her coffee.

I smiled, the most amazing night of her life was spent with me. "Well, if you had so much fun, maybe one night you could come to one of my concerts?" I stated in question form.

She nodded, with out turning around. "Yeah, maybe", was all she replied. "So, what time are you leaving?"

I looked at her, but she was still giving her back to me. She wanted me gone. I opened up to her and now she's done, I'm not mysterious anymore. "Excuse me?" I asked, loudly.

She turned around with a worried expression expression on her face and said, "I'm sorry. That wasn't supposed to come out offensive. I just wanted to finish some stuff and figured you'd be going to the studio or dance rehearsal or something."

I rolled my eyes when she turned away from me. What could she possibly have to do? "Exactly what do you do all day, when I'm gone?"

She tilted her head for a second, as if to contemplate telling me before she replied, "Oh, nothing."

Now, I was insulted. Angrily I asked, "So you want me to leave so that you can get back to doing nothing?"

She looked, not scared but angry, and demanded, "Chris, relax."

I was silent before asking, "Why is there such a massive wall around you? What could've possibly made you keep everyone away? "

Her face changed, Stephanie seemed hurt and that wasn't my intention. I think my words brought back memories and she misplaced her anger to me. Stephanie asked,"Wasn't it in your file?"

I completely forgot about that. I responded, "I look up everyone I meet, I don't understand why you took this so personal!"

Stephanie, "You already know too much about me, Chris. I read the email! There isn't anything else for me to tell. You have an unfair advantage of knowing everything about my life. "

I stood shocked that she thought I knew everything about her. "Google me, you can find every house I've ever lived in, every school I ever went to, every girl I ever dated. We would be even. Nothing in that file is personal."

Stephanie rolled her eyes before saying, "You don't get it, you do know personal stuff. I know you have text messages."

I threw my head back in frustration, reached for my phone, and threw it to her. "Make us even. Stephanie, ask me anything. Didn't I prove last night I could open up to you? I thought you were opening up to me to when you started talking about your mom. But, this morning we wake up and you can't wait to get rid of me."
