It was a quiet day when I had found her...a day that changed my life forever. I was late to my new school and was trying to find my way around town when I had suddenly found myself at some kind of sacred mountain...it was so beautiful there. The entire side was covered in cherry blossom trees and the pedals were blooming wonderfully, even though it was the middle of winter and had been snowing harshly not moments ago! There was a lovely, small shrine I could see in the distance and in front of me laid a beautiful woman. Much more beautiful than myself.

She had such long silver hair and pale skin, her nails were painted the same color as her lips; a beautiful red pigment, and the lids of her striking golden eyes were dusted purple along with her flushed pink cheeks. Her enviously thin body was adorned with expensive-looking fabrics that had equally beautiful embroidery sewn onto them. She had strangely traditional clothing on, though impractical in the modern world she had still worn them.

I would never forget that day...she was trembling before me. This beautiful woman of which I had never seen before was covered in blood and dirt. She held a bright red parasol in one hand and a fan in the other. Obviously concerned for the woman, I kneeled down to help her. "Where are we?" I asked, "What happened to you...?" But she only rested her head on my knee and whimpered a single phrase..."help...me...".

I was scared, I was worried, and of course I was confused! But that woman needed my help and that was what was most important in my mind. Do I regret helping her after learning what would become of me as a result? Not in the slightest. I will always help those in need to the best of my ability, regardless of the consequences! So I took her hand and ran as fast as I could in the other direction. I was so sure that we could get help at the bottom of the mountain, there had to be people of some kind down there. So I descended as quickly as I could. "...name...?" I could hear the woman behind me whisper out to me "what is...your name...?".

Upon hearing her voice I immediately stopped and turned to her, I was so wrapped up in actually finding help that I forgot to tell her my name and learn hers. And when I looked back, I saw a beautiful, frail woman. Clinging as tightly to her parasol and fan as she could as I guided her down the mountain. Her long, silver locks were a mess and her expensive clothing was terribly ripped. I felt so bad for her..."Yamagishi..." I breathed out as the two of us were gasping for air "My name is...Sasaki...Yamagishi". The woman, while her chest was rather harshly heaving up and down, smiled. "Sasaki...Yamagishi...what a...lovely name...my name is...Shinda...just Shinda..." and before my very eyes, Miss Shinda began to glow very brightly as she leaned forward and collapsed on top of me. Sending both of our bodies tumbling down the steep slope as a violent fit of laughter could be heard coming from behind us.

That was the day...that I became a God!
