Wedding bells rang as the birds chirped. The lonely chapel on the hill, now filled with delighted wedding guests. Alex and Eliza didn't invite many people, only those whom they trust. Eliza now in her wedding gown, she looked at herself in the mirror one more time chanting that she'll do great, wait what, this is my wedding, what should i be great at? Saying yes? She thought to herself and smiled it off. This is MY wedding, with the love if my life. Can it go wrong? Yes, yes it can, can it go as planned? Yes, yes it definitely can. So it depends on whether i become too excited on saying "i do" Eliza mouthed those words out loud, a moment of silence between Eliza and her reflection. That sounded like heaven, i can't wait to say it again and spend the rest if my life with him. This idiot. MY idiot.

The wedding went great, Eliza almost tripped herself with her gown, Alex was the one being too excited and saying "i do" Too loudly, aunt Felicia ate most of the cake, uncle freddy got drunk and puked on the porch. Everything went as planned. Eliza was smiling to herself thinking about the plan for the future already. But something didn't feel right in her stomach," My love, are you alright? Is something wrong? "Alex asked Eliza as he had a worried consented look on his face, Eliza brushed it off and said that she had only one plate of their cake so she wasn't full. They both laughed at the joke. What they didn't know is the surprise waiting for them, or we could say two surprises.
It was a cloudy day, the storms were clearly coming for the cottage the couple were currently living in. "Honey, are you sure it won't be today" Eliza asked Alex while rubbing her 9month big tummy, surely she was aching, felt sick, had a headache and her water seemed to broke, in a panic Alex answered that the doctor said it should've come only 2 weeks more, but why now. In this storm, is the gods up above not on our side, was what he was questioning himself. "Love, don't worry, I'm a retired nurse, what's the worse that could've happen" Eliza assured her panicking husband with a warm smile. Alex, now a bit more relaxed starts to actually get prepared for the unexpected birth of their infants, it was clear that they were going to be twins based on how big Eliza's stomach was looking. So when they bought clothes, binkies, etc. They made sure to get 2 of them. As of now Eliza was in extreme labor mode, screaming and clutching on the covers of the bed.
(I'll spare y'all the process)
The sun finally shone upon the cottage once again, the cool smell of rain could be smelled, it seems that the plants got the rain well too, the fresh smell of healthy soil was magnificent. But how could we ever forget, the happy lil family. Smiling to each other, Alex kissed Eliza on her forehead reassuring her that she did a great job, Eliza, out of her breath, smiled at her husband "No, we did a good job, I'm proud of us. You, me.... And these two sunshines which are surely going to light up our world" She said while smiling down at the newborn twins, tears streaming down her face as she gives both of them a kiss on the forehead. Alex could do nothing but to watch his wife and his twins, the scene was too magnificent and beautiful for him that he couldn't get his eyes of off the three of them.
