New France p.o.v
"JE SAIS QUE VOUS ÊTES LÀ, SORTEZ! (I KNOW YOU'RE THERE, COME OUT!)" I commanded, then they finally came out.
A little boy, little older than me walked out from the bushes. He had a white background flag, in the middle was a half red, half white circle that had a green outline, the green outline had a blue outline, the blue outline had a yellow outline, there was a feather at each side of the circle and three feathers at the bottom of the circle and the words red earth Cree nation on top of the circle (I'll add the picture at the top). He was wearing a breechcloth and legging with moccasins.
"Atamiskawêw (hello)" the boy said meekly. I thought I only knew French but I knew what he was saying."Awêyiwa êkoni kîstawâw? (who are you?)" I asked still pointing my knife at him. "Iýiniwihkâsow âýisiýiniw pîhtaw kânata (native people of Canada)" he said "mâka anohc aspiýihkâtew niýa, Iýiniwihkâsow (But just call me, native). I nodded and lower the knife but keep my guard up.
"Êcika môýa kiýaskot isiýihkâsowin? (What is your name?)" Indigène asked. "Nouvelle France" I answered plainly and started collecting my stuff to leaves. I started to leave but he stopped me "cêskwa! (Wait!)" He yelled. "Oui" I said, not fully trusting him.
"....."
"A-a- atamihow kîstawâw miýwêýihcikêwin.... âmôsîsipâskwat naminâs!? (D-d- do you like..... maple syrup!?)" He exclaimed. What the heck is maple syrup?! And what is so important about it. "Êcika môýa ana? (What is that?)" I asked and his face lit up. "Niýa ka kiskinohtahêw kîstawâw (I can show you)" he says and grabbed my arm and started to pull me with him.I quickly snatched up my stuff and let him pull me to wherever he was taking me. I would've resist him but I kinda wanted to see what maple syrup is. He pulled me to a campsite with these triangle shaped tents. There were people there but they didn't seem to notice us.
He took to the edge of the campsite, where this bucket was hanging over a fire. He let go of my arm and we stopped. He looked at me then left me. How dare he just leave me, I don't even know where I am, like who are the people, they don't look like Frenchmen. I plopped down and started playing with Jacques.
I watched the children play with each other, the women wear sewing clothing and the men coming back from hunting. "Où est-il allé? (Where did he go)" I quietly asked myself.
After sitting there for awhile Iýiniwihkâsow came back but he had a different flag from before. This time the flag was a white flag with a rock tower in the middle (inukshuk).
"Aluu, ikinngut (hello, friend)" he said, walking towards me. I also notice he was wearing different clothes, he was wearing a parka, pants, boots and mittens. He was also carrying a small bowl full of this brown, liquid thing.
"Êcika môýa ana? (What is that?)" I asked, pointing at the bowl. "Âmôsîsipâskwat naminâs (maple syrup)" he said, with a smile and passed me the bowl. I took it and looked at him, how did he just change like that?. I decided to ignore it and taste the maple syrup.
I stuck my finger in it and plopped it in my mouth. "Hou la la (wow)" I mumbled to myself. This tastes incredible, unbelieve, wonderful, marvelous, flabbergasting, heavenly. "Atamihow kîstawâw miýwêýihcikêwin apiscisîhcikanis? (Do you like it?) He asked, looking hopefully at me.
"Êha! Awa cîhkispakosiw mêtoni cîhkêýihtâkosiwin! (Yes! This tastes really good!)" I exclaimed. He smiled brightly and said "niýa ka-kî kiskinohtahêw kîstawâw tâni isi apihêw apiscisîhcikanis (I can show you how to make it)" he offers and I nod.
Time skip brought to you by maple syrup
Iýiniwihkâsow showed me how to tap maple trees and boiled the sap down to make the sugary goodness that comes from the go-

He showed me how to make maple syrup myself but it was getting dark and I should be at home. "Êy Iýiniwihkâsow? (Hey Native)" I said, tapping his shoulder. He stopped talking to one of the ladies and turned to me, "êha (yes)". "Niýa kôtamâw kiýa âkwaskiskawêw atimâpamêw (I need to get going)" I explained and he nodded.
"Niýa ka âhcikâpawiw kîstawâw (I can take you)" he said and I started gathering my stuff. I grabbed Jacques, the pieces of bark, the maple syrup and my knife and we started heading back.
Time skip, sorry I'm lazy
We got to my house with no problems. "Â, Niýa kîsi kiýa ahâw, niýa kôtamâw kiýa âkwâskam kîwêtinohk (Well, I have to go,I need to head north)" he says, I nodded and hugged him. We said our good byes and went our separate ways. He went north to Wherever he was going and I went back to my room.

A/n: well, this took longer than expected, sorry. The languages I used, Cree and Inuktitut, are most likely wrong but you don't know how hard it is to find a online translator for aboriginal languages. Also the one I found only let you translate one word at a time and it didn't even give me a straight answer. If anyone can speak those languages or know a good website for those languages, please tell me.
Also, for those who are wondering, native can change his appearance and language because there are multiple aboriginal groups. Well thank you for anyone reading this and I hope you have a yeeting day.
