Your POV

I was walking to school like every other day, and yet an other day of hell. I personally hate going to school simply because of the people there, I have recently been socially exhausted from being around other peoples's presence, growing tired of certain people's entitled toxicity and their suffocating grasps in their unrealistic beliefs and shallowness, well everyone has their differences. Right? . For me, I was just there, to fulfill my life with scholar bullshit. I try not to get attention too much and try to just survive through (your grade/year), being new to this school felt like new pages were being written in the back of my head, like an unfinished page for a soon to be story, moving from my last estate was quite hard...I had to leave my friends, leave my nana and pop, and my boyfriend, "Hey (y/n)! What's up?" I heard someone shout my name under their breath. As I turned around I saw a small girl with short blonde hair, porcelain fair skin and hazel eyes as she bent over gripping her knees catching her breath "hey Charlie" I said nonchalantly. She fixed her posture and looked at me "did your adoptive dad hit you again?" She said while pushing my bangs behind my ears revealing a dark purple bruise circulating my left eye. "Yeah...the fucker hits me all the time it shouldn't even be surprising" I said in a low tone. Charlie sighed "y'know I can get you help and put that bastard in jail" my head perked up at what she said "NO!...I mean no, please don't he will just get mad at me and once he's out of jail he'll beat me more" "girl, you'll be sent to foster care...or your adoptive dad's parents can adopt you, I mean they love you" I looked down at my feet and sighed "if only life was that simple" I said under my breath "yeah and it will be if you cooperate with it" Charlie said while we made it to class. "So...how are you and James doing?" I looked at her direction as she spoke my boyfriend's name "good....well he just needs to stop getting his hopes up about getting in my pants...he'll be visiting me next week" Charlie nodded as the bell rang "see you at lunch" she said with a smile on her face as she started speed walking to her class while I walked into mine. Warm air filled the small room as I sat down on my desk and played with my phone case under the desk whilst other students crowded the small room. As the class started my eyes landed on a single lonely tree outside, the window was a large thick glass within the classroom revealing the woods....but what really caught my attention was a guy resting on that lonely tree. It seemed that he was looking at me as well, it sent shivers down my spine even though he has a mucky white hoodie covering half his face....
