One Step Closer

Chapter 6

WARNING this is just a filler chapter, it's going to be kind of weird. I just didn't want to have a large time jump. So if you don't want to read this you don't have to, but if you want to read this then you are awesome and fabulous :) ok filler chapter yay!

Heather's POV

"Oh my gosh Heather that's so exciting! I didn't know you had auditioned for a show that's great!" Hannah said hugging me.

I still couldn't believe it I got the part.

"I have an idea!" Hannah said.

"What?" I said mocking her perkiness.

"We should go shopping! I mean wouldn't you need clothes to rehearse in?" She said.

"I guess..." I said questioning her statement.

"I mean you can't really rehearse in that." she said pointing to my jeans, blouse, and heels. "It would just get in your way."

She noticed my questioning look. "Just trust me and come on." She said leaving money on the table for our food and pulling me down the sidewalk.

After a long day of going through stores and trying on clothes, we found some shirts, some yoga pants, and some dance shoes. I must admit my sister has an eye for fashion even if we are just looking for some clothes for me to rehearse in.

We made our way back to my apartment when I noticed someone sitting on the front steps of the building. It was Jack.

"Hey Sweetie." He said making me blush for the second time today.

He kissed the top of my head when he noticed Hannah standing behind me.

"Oh yes, Jack this is Hannah. Hannah this is Jack." I said introducing the two.

"Nice to meet you Hannah." He said.

"You too." She smiled at him.

I pulled my key out of my purse.

"Hannah can you take the bags upstairs to my apartment B23, we'll be up in a few minutes."

She nodded taking the bags and heading to the doors.

Once she was through the doors I turned to Jack.

"Your sister seems nice." He said.

"Yeah she is but she can be like any little sister, but I still love her."

"Is there something you wanted to tell me?" He asked.

"Oh yes I have some exciting news, I got the part!"

The expression on his face made me laugh.

"Heather! That's fantastic!" He said pulling me into a hug and kissing me.
We stayed there for a minute just me and him. I pulled away first.

"Now come on before Hannah breaks anything." I said. He got a concerned look on his face.

"I'm just kidding, come on." I said pulling him into the building.

Sorry I know, I know. The next chapter will be less boring. :) Also the next chapter will be dedicated to my best friend. That will be out probably tonight or tomorrow. Also sorry for such a long wait. Ok bye :)
