Death Ensemble (Ensemble Stars x Danganronpa)

Chapter 1

I woke up by the noise of my alarm clock, I pressed irritated and pressed annoyed on the sleep of the alarm clock, but the noise started again after 5 minutes, so I finaly got up. I shuffled down sullenly and made myself breakfast. I looked at the calendar and when I read what was there, it cheered me up. I had been given a free cruise a month ago and I was looking forward to it all the time. I quickly packed my clothes and other things like my cell phone. Suddenly a horn sounded in front of my door, which must be from the car that was supposed to pick me up. I happily went outside and loaded my luggage into the car. This brought me to the ship harbor. I entered the big cruise ship full of anticipation, but got really dizzy when I was on the upper deck. No one else was there and I just collapsed on the floor, my eyes went black. The last thing I heard was that someone was running towards me and then I finally lost consciousness.

I got woken up by a violent jerk and an uncomfortably painful impact and narrowed my eyes due to the hard impact. When I opened my eyes hesitantly, I found myself in a kind of ship's cabin and eyed my surroundings in confusion. Many questions swirled around in my head. Where am I? How did I get here? Am I alone here or are there other people in this place?

After a short while I decided to get up and look around. When I straightened up and ran to the door of the room I saw a note. "At 3pm in the big hall," I muttered to myself. I searched the room I was in for a clock and finally found one.

"Crap already 14:58 !!", I said startled and stormed out of the room in the hope that I would find this big hall in time. At around 3:20 pm I finally found the big hall. I pushed open the door and stumbled inside where everyone in the room looked at me in surprise. Immediately a boy with gray hair and piercing blue eyes said I was late, for which I apologized. However, I got upset that there was no plan on the ship.

Well, the gray-haired idiot raised an eyebrow only skeptically, but then said no more. Then the others introduced themselves to me, since they probably already know each other. So I also found out that the cute black haired boy that I noticed at the beginning was called Hokuto. We were all still talking for a while when a large screen suddenly turned on at 3:30 p.m. and you saw a black and white teddy bear.

"I see everyone is finally here upupupu ~" said the strange bear, at which he was stared in shock by most. "ARE YOU AN ALIEN ????", asked an orange haired boy named Leo and waited eagerly for the bear's answer. "Upupu ~ no I'm not an alien, I'm Monokuma, the mastermind," said the strange robot or whatever it was. All replied with a questioning look. "What do you mean by mastermind?" Asked this Izumi guy suspiciously. "Upupupu I explain to you ~ you are trapped here and if you want to get out of here you have to kill one of the other participants ~~" For a short time the hall was filled with the silence of the frightened 15-17 year old when a mass hysteria broke out a few seconds later, the teddy just laughed. Immediately everyone started desperately looking for an exit and soon one was found. "Uhm people come here ..." I said loudly enough that the others could hear me and you could tell from the sound of my voice that I wasn't particularly happy even though I had found the exit. But the others understood it as soon as they were outside. We were surrounded by water. We were all on a cruise ship in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly the voice of Monokuma could be heard behind us "pupupu ~ did you really think it would be that easy? ~" Everyone looked silently to the floor, which made Monokuma laugh and giggle again. "LET US OUT YOU CRAZY SOCIOPATH !!", the boy named Kaoru shouted desperately. "But I did explain to you what you have to do to get out of here upupu ~" replied the teddy. But this didn't appeal to any of us and we became more and more desperate inside. "THIS IS NOT FUNNY YOU PSYCHOPATH !!! LET US FREE !! "Kaoru protested loudly again. The teddy bear meanwhile was apparently quite annoyed, because he only said that he would kill Kaoru, if he wouldn't just shut up. "Well, you will find your personal monopad in your rooms, the room keys are in your pocket. Now excuse me, I still have something to do. "Monokuma said and then simply disappeared without another word. Meanwhile, a few of the others tried to calm Kaoru down and after a while they managed it. Gradually more and more went to look for their rooms. I was one of the last, but surprisingly I found my room quite quickly. The room was very simple, it had a bed, a small chest of drawers with a lamp on it, a closet with clothes, a ceiling lamp and it had one of those typical round ship windows. After a while I made myself comfortable, but after a few seconds I heard a knock. I got up and hesitantly opened the door a little and I hardly believed who I saw. "Hokuto? What are you doing here so late? " I asked him in surprise as I noticed a small red glow on his cheeks. "Uhm ... I couldn't sleep ... and since we got along so well ... I thought ... maybe I could come to you ..", Hokuto stuttered, while the blush on his cheeks increased significantly . I felt the heat rise in my head and I let Hokuto enter. Once again the blanket of silence lay over us and we sank into deep silence. Suddenly a small part of the opposite wall opened and a screen was visible. The screen came on and Monokuma was visible. "It's bedtime, everyone goes to your room if you don't intend to kill someone pupupu ~" ordered the bear and the monitor turned off again. Hokuto and I were still staring at the TV when Hokuto broke the silence. "Tell me ..." he started, as I turned my head to look at him. "May I sleep with you here ..?  Only if it's okay with you .. "he continued and I saw him blush. I blushed too and answered him with a nod and said with a grin, "sure enough". And so it happened that Hokke, as I was allowed to call him, and I slept in the same bed. When I woke up early the next morning and wanted to get up, I noticed that Hokke hugged me while sleeping, which made me blush. I lay down in bed again, turned to Hokke in my embrace and put my head to his chest and continued to sleep. The next time I woke up, Hokke apparently tried to wake me up and I slowly opened my eyes. At first I didn't know where I was and I was confused, but then I remembered yesterday and I was depressed. Hokke probably understood what was going on because he hugged me and whispered softly things like "everything will be fine, I'm here" in my ear. I don't know how long we stayed like this, but I do know that a few of the others came to pick us up, because we were late for breakfast, which we all agreed to eating together, so that we could check if everyone was still alive. Same thing with lunch and dinner. So we went to the kitchen to eat and then went to the dining room, where everyone was waiting for us. "You are too late!" Izumi warned us, annoyed. Hokke replied with a downward "Ts" and we sat down to eat. Everyone now started to eat, and one after the other finished eating, cleared away and then disappeared back into their rooms because no one trusted the other. Hokke and I also went back to my room and talked, we had already became good friends, even if we hadn't known each other for more than two days. . Suddenly you heard another announcement from Monokuma and the monitor came out of the wall and switched on. "Find yourself in the big hall immediately!" Monokuma ordered and then the monitor switched off again and drove back into the wall which closed again. Hokke and I quickly went to the room mentioned and this time we weren't the last. When everyone was there Monokuma appeared. "Oi, why are you just bringing us here? Do you want to check if everyone is still here or what? We can't get out of here anyway." Said the blue-haired boy named Jun annoyed and rolled his eyes as he spoke. "Pupupu ~ I didn't call you to count if everyone was still there, I know you can't get out of here ~" replied the teddy bear. Now Izumi intervened: "Then why did you order us here?" Asked Izumi with boredom, which had an annoyed undertone. "Upupu ~ Why are you so impatient Sena-kun, Sazanami-kun? ~" Monokuma teased, "but I'll tell you why you all had to come here ~ I have a motive for you ~" said Monokuma, whereupon everyone started whispering. "W-what do you mean by motive..?" I asked with uncertainty, but a few seconds later when Monokuma replied, I wished I had never asked because I regretted it deeply.
