Death Ensemble (Ensemble Stars x Danganronpa)

Chapter 2

I woke up the next day and went to breakfast, like I normally would, when suddenly there was an announcement from Monokuma. A body was found again. „again...? Well, let's go Nazuna" Midori sighed in his depressed mood and we started walking. After a few minutes everyone was back at the scene, but when we saw the body it was almost certainly clear who it was. "E-eichi ...? That was your work or ...? "I asked uncertainly while I stared at the body of Subaru Akehoshi. "He didn't deserve it any other way!!!", he said firmly while sounding very angry.

"Are you being serious..???" Chiaki asked extremely disturbed and he didn't seem to believe him completely, even if it was extremely obvious. But nobody really wanted to believe it, even if we knew deeply inside that it had been him. Monokuma only gave us an hour this time, but we didn't really need it. After all, Eichi hadn't even bothered to destroy or hide the evidence. Time went by and we would be brought back down to the courtroom. Everyone was back to their place and we had to start. "So I think each of you is aware that Eichi is the murderer .." Jun started "and how it happened and why he did it, is probably also clear to everyone .." he finished what was said and then it was quiet again. "Well, if you're so sure, you can vote ~" Monokuma said teasingly but firmly and so we had to vote very early on.

Everyone was shocked, as Monokuma announced the results of the votes and a board and the name of the murder lit up in a bright green. We were actually Right with our assumption, that Eichi Tenshouin had killed Subaru Akehoshi.

„B-but why did you do that? We all said, that no more people should die! You yourself were also against the idea, of more people dying and agreed that we should all live in peace!", Chiaki yelled incomprehendingly and shaken.

„Oh you shut up, you understand Nothing! You have no idea what it's like to see the corpse of a loved one and then the accomplice of the Killer doesn't even get punished properly!", Eichi stammered, who was completely shaken up mentally. „I-i did it for Wataru...!", he sobbed. „Well because you knew, who the killer was, it's now punishment timeee~" , Monokuma said playfully and repeatedly knocked his hammer onto the red button in front of him. Immediately Eichi's neck was enveloped in a metal rope, just like Hokuto's and Subaru's before him, and he was pulled away into the punishment room. We were all lead to a huge glass pane, where we could see his execution in front of our very eyes.

Eichi was bound to a chair, as he tried to Escape and into the room came a robotbear, made out of metal who gave Eichi a injection. Probably the content of the injection was some special poison. He was then placed in front of a canvas, where he could see loads of Little Clips out of his life. We couldn't really understand the mental torture he was going through, but we could see how bad it was for him by the look on his face, Twisted in pain. Shortly after, the Chair he was sitting on, turned into our direction, but some Kind of box elevates itself out of the Floor and Eichi was no longer visible. Then a voice, which sounded familiar to all of us, could be heard.

«How do you like this game Eichi-kun?~», asked the strangely familiar voice, which most likely belonged to the mastermind. Eichi seemed to recognise him. You could see his eyes widen slightly and his confused voice saying: «Is that really you...?»

But no answer came. Maybe they just nodded, but you could see the Person put a tray with a silver pistol. Everyone tried to guess the shape of the mastermind, but to no avail. Everything that was visible, were the strangers Hands. Then the strange Person disappeared again and Eichi was turned back to the canvas. This time the Scene of Wataru's death played in front of him and Tears streamed down Eichi's cheeks. After his restraints were removed, the car with the pistol rolled over to him. Being totally mentally exhausted, he grabbed the pistol and pulled the trigger. It was over for him. The rest of us however would never be able to get rid of the Image of his exploding head. His brain and skull Fragments shattering everywhere. Completely distraught, the rest of us went back to our Rooms while Monokuma cleaned up the blood of the deceased.
