NARRATIVE
I sighed in content as i stepped off of the plane. I was glad to be back in Jersey. The last time i came here was when i was twelve years old so i hadn't seen my cousins in a while. They were like sisters to me. I missed Vic and Mariana so much. I also missed Taylor. Taylor and Victoria were my absolute best friends, even when I moved they still spoke frequently.
After collecting my luggage from baggage claim, I scanned the airport for Victoria's face, pulling out my phone when I failed to spot her. I checked my messages to see if I'd received any from Vic, but there were none. I decide to call her.
Vic answered the call with a flat "hey".
"Don't sound too happy to hear from me" I chuckled tiredly.
"I'm literally fucking exhausted I haven't slept yet" is Vic's response. "Are you here? I'm over at Starbucks with mom"
I take another glance around the airport before my eyes land on the small Starbucks that was tucked away in the corner. "Okay, come out"
Vic led her mother through the door and I spotted her as they did so, grabbing my suitcase and rushing towards them.
"I've missed you, bitch."
"I know" I reply and embrace her into a long hug.
"Can we go? I am so tired." Victoria speaks aloud, so that her mother hear, and she nods, before we follow her to the car.
I was so tired. I couldn't wait to get to one of the guest rooms so I could finally go back to sleep. I slept for two hours on the plane.
"Mattia's been asking about you." Victoria spoke as we got into the backseats. I instantly grimace at the sound of his name.
"Yeah? I hate him."
"No, you don't." Vic insisted with a smirk, "Otherwise, you wouldn't have messaged him and flirted. You have a little crush on that guy."
"Vic, shut up. He is an asshole and I don't want him near me at all so please just keep him away, okay?"
"Fine." Victoria starts and turns to look out the window, "But it's not my fault if he talks to you and I'm not around to stop it."
"What's suddenly changed your mind? Huh? I thought you liked him"
"I just thought he was going to play you, okay? Him talking nonstop about you just made me think that maybe he likes you." Mattia always spoke about me in class apparently, so Vic was positive that he had some sort of crush on me. I heavily disagreed.
"Yeah, but he started talking shit and calling me a slut for no reason so I'll kill him if he tries to talk to me" I wasn't actually mad. I didn't mind him, I was just the type to hold grudges. "He doesn't like me, can't believe you ever thought he did. Idiot."
"Okay, let's not talk about it. Alright?"
"I agree." The car came to a halt and we got out, Victoria helped me grab my suitcases and led me to the basement. There was only one spare room in the house, so they decided to decorate the basement and turn it into my guest room for the duration of my visit.
"Woah! It's huge down here." I exclaim, noticing a door and opening it, revealing an unused bathroom. "All this, for me?"
"Yes. It's nice, isn't it?" Vic spoke, "Were having parties down here."
"Thank you." I all but grin, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be taking a nap."
"Of course, I'll be down later. See ya." Victoria made her way to the stairs, waving me off as she left the basement. I yawned and dived onto the bed that was sat up against the wall and fell into deep sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
authors note
this is sort of a filler, i want more vic and aurora parts so before aurora meets mattia i'm gonna write a few parts that don't include him just so i can introduce vic and aurora's relationship properly first :) also yeah i changed it to first person, it's easier to express emotion that way
