I could hear the sirens getting closer. I could see the faint flash of blue lights on the trees in the woods as I wizzed by them! They are looking for me, and they knew exactly where I am.
It just happened so fast; it was hard to control. It was as if another entity took over my body and made me do it. It had to be done, but who knew it would be me who did it in the end? The wreckage and the dysfunction of the house were too much to bear. The hurt in the house was becoming too heavy to carry.
I could hear the dogs barking now they have began to enter the woods and search for me on foot! I needed to think fast. Some way to hide; I needed to deviate a plan!
I know these woods like the back of my hand. It is easy to maneuver through them in the pitch dark of the night! I could hide in the old shed; no it would be too obvious of a place! I will have to go into the caves. Yes, the caves, perfect.
The children of the town believe that the caves are haunted, but for us teenagers it’s a place to go to have a good time and get wasted. No adult knows of the caves. Yes, it’s a perfect place to hide, and to scheme a plan to escape from the torment and the horror I have just brought on myself. I will sleep there for the night and begin my escape plan in the morning, when I can think more clearly.
