The three boys finally decided it was time to go to sleep after Jaemin and Renjun basically hugged Jeno to death. It was around three or four in the morning, and each were quite exhausted.

Even so, on the king sized bed all three teens had decided to sleep on, Jaemin lay awake. He stared up at the ceiling, feeling Renjun move in his sleep beside him and cuddle his arm.

Imagining living with them both left the teen restless. He couldn't fall asleep knowing that their plan had worked. He also didn't think Jeno would relent so quickly, which made him think the older liked them more than he let on.

Tilting his head up to view Jeno beside him, since he was squished between the two, he noticed the brunette rub his tired eyes and yawn.

"Still awake?" He whispered, leaving Jaemin baffled since he thought both were already asleep.

"Mmm," he hummed, the sound feeling weird against his throat. Each step he took towards unblocking his mental block was helping. Even sounds had started to come easier.

Jeno extended his hand to the blonde, even though he couldn't quite see him in the darkness. Jaemin, shocked at the feeling, stayed still as the older's fingers trailed along his cheek.

"Thank you," be whispered breathily, shifting slightly to face Jaemin properly.

"Hm?"

"I mean for putting up with me....and staying by me. Both you and Renjun are the best people I've ever met."

Jaemin smiled, even though he knew Jeno couldn't see it. He wanted to lean in and hug him, tell him that it was all fine, and that Renjun felt as strongly as he did. But he couldn't.

For starters, the Chinese was woven quite tightly around his arm as well as having his legs wrapped around Jaemin's. Another point was that the youngest still wasn't sure how much contact Jeno was comfortable with. Perhaps a hug would've made his skin crawl, or made him really happy. He didn't want to force it.

Jeno just lay there, watching Jaemin's darkened features fondly and chewing his lower lip. The silence in the room was deafening as they stared one another down.

Without thinking, and without even considering the outcome, the repercussions or the emotions, Jeno leaned in and daringly pressed his lips against Jaemin's. His heart raced as he felt the warmth of his breath.

Realising what he had just done, he pulled away, about to apologise though being cut off by Jaemin pulling him in again by the back of his neck.

Jeno's breath hitched as the younger kissed him gently, lips soft and small wet noises being elicited every time they changed angle. Thoughts disappeared as the pair let go of reality for just a little while, forgetting everything around them, where they were, who they were with, the emotions.

Eventually needing air, they separated, looking at each other for a few seconds before the reality hit them like a ton of bricks. Jeno slid back quickly, covering his mouth and gasping.

Jaemin swiftly averted his gaze to Renjun, calming slightly once he saw the older was still asleep. Though an immense guilt shrouded his mind when thinking of what just happened.

"Jaemin," Jeno whispered hoarsely, "Don't tell him......please."

The younger looked over at him questioningly, reaching over Renjun to flick the lamp on before returning his gaze to the brunette.

Jeno sighed, "The three of us are friends, yes?"

The blonde nodded.

"I don't want to ruin that by telling Renjun and making everything weird."

Jaemin sighed, tilting his head back for a moment and considering the situation. He had liked the kiss....it was technically his first when forgetting his aunt, and it opened his eyes to the fact that maybe his interest lay in boys. What he also didn't want, was for Renjun to suddenly push them away because of a split second 'occurrence'.

The youngest glanced down at the oldest, seeing Renjun's innocent figure curled up beside him, sleeping soundly. He then looked back at Jeno who was staring off into the distance, clearly pondering.

Jaemin reached his hand out to him, touching his cheek and shocking him. The older blinked a couple of times to snap out of his daze.

"What should we do?"

Covering Renjun's ears, Jaemin hoped Jeno would understand what he meant. The older nodded in agreement, still feeling somewhat uneasy for some reason.

That was his first kiss as well, and he didn't know what had come over him to initiate it. All he knew was that he had a strong feeling towards Jaemin, and a similar one towards Renjun. Hoping he was completely wrong about it and pushing it to the far depths of his mind, he shook off the idea.

They were his friends. His first friends. Going around kissing them wasn't what he should've been doing.

Without Jeno realising, the blonde had actually reached out to grab his phone from the other side of the bed and was typing something. He showed it to the brunette, leaning over it as Jeno read.

'We can keep this a secret. But I want you to know that I don't regret it. I liked it.'

Well at least Jeno knew now that he hadn't committed some sort of act of sexual harassment. The last thing he wanted was for Jaemin to panic and hate him. At least they both felt the same way about all of this.

As Jaemin leaned back over and switched the lamp off, both boys laid down. At first, Jeno felt uncomfortable leaving things there, feeling like he needed to clear the air further.

But that uneasiness was soon put to rest when the youngest, using his strong arms, pulled the older in towards him.

Now, Jaemin had both Jeno and Renjun sleeping against his shoulders, feeling much more happy to rest like this.

It was odd for the blonde.....since there was once a time he would lock his door at night to keep people away.
