Perfect

Y/N POV

Saturday. Homecoming day. Daniel, Christian, Ethan, and I went to watch the parade around 10. After the parade we went out for lunch with Anna and the boys. We went to this place called Greenleaf, I've never been before, but Anna told me it's her favorite so it must be good.

We sat in this Pinterest-worthy outdoor area. We sat at this long wooden table, one row of chairs on one side, and a comfy patio sofa with pillows on the other. Me, Daniel, Christian, Ethan, and Anna sat on the chairs while Jonah, Corbyn, Jack, and Zach sat on the sofa.

I sat in between Daniel and Anna, and cross from Corbyn. I didn't know what to get, so I just got whatever Anna was getting. We both ordered a Santa Fe bowl while everyone else got a burger, chicken tenders and fries, or a salad.

We ate and talked for a while and before I knew it, it was 3:00. The dance started at 9:00, so I'm not worried about not having time to get ready. Anna, Daniel, the boys, and I decided to go roller skating to let time pass. Anna invited her friend Gabbie and Andre to come with us, and they're as amazing as she described them.

We got to the skating rink and got our skates. Jonah and Corbyn went full speed ahead, racing around the rink. Anna, Gabbie, and Andre went to do a quick photo shoot before skating. Jack and Zach went ahead and raced together as well. It was just me and Daniel left. We tied our skates and entered the rink. I held on to the wall, with Daniel holding my hand next to me. I try letting go of the wall, but then Jack comes speeding pass us and afraid to fall, I lean against the wall again.

"Hey, you alright?" Daniel asks, still holding my hand.

"Yeah, I don't think I have went roller skating before." I say shyly. A little part of me felt embarrassed, not knowing how to skate, let alone skate as well as everyone else. "You don't have to wait for me, go ahead and skate with everyone else. I'll manage."

"No no no no, I'd rather skate with you. I can help you if you want." I small smile grows on my face. When will he stop?

"Fine. What's the first step?" He takes both my hands, facing me and skating backwards, forcing myself to leave the wall.

"First step, you have to trust me." He smiles his famous Daniel Seavey smile causing a chain reaction. I can't seem to help myself.

"Well that shouldn't be too hard." I say giving a small grin, he smirks back and rolls his eyes. A miraculous 10 minutes later, and we're skating hand in hand around the rink. The rest of our time there, I couldn't stop smiling. We left at 5:00 and rushed back to the house to get ready. Andre and Anna offered to drive me and Daniel home, while Gabbie rode with the rest of the boys.

We got home and Anna and Andre ending up staying. Anna offered to help me get ready and Andre offered to take our photos. I gladly accepted her offer and we hurried into my room. I quickly showered and did my makeup while my hair was drying. Anna style and curled my hair while I finished the final touches on my makeup. I finally went into my closet to put the dress on.

I come out with my dress and heels on and see Anna lounging on the bed on her phone. I give a spin to show off the skirt as she drops her phone and rushes over to me.

"Oh my God! Y/n! It's perfect on you! This is gorgeous!!" We're both smiling wide, squealing like crazy.

"Ahhh! Thank you! I have you to thank anyways!"

"Girl, no. This, perfection" she motions her hand to me, "is all you." We walk out to the living room to find Daniel, Christian, Ethan, and Andre. Christian just finished helping Daniel with his tie, which is the same shade of red as my dress. I walk into the living room and his jaw drops. I watch Ethan look at me with pride as he takes millions of pictures on his phone. Daniel walks up to me, taking both hands, looking at me up and down.

"Y/n, you look beautiful." I begin to blush again, I can't stop smiling.

"You don't look so bad yourself, Giraffe." We both laugh and put our foreheads against another. If I'm being honest, the red really brings out his eyes. He's the best. I hear a camera flashing in the background, but ignore it.

"Okay well what are we waiting for? Pictures outside, now." Anna says, snapping at the end. We all laugh as we all go outside to the backyard for pictures. Andre directs us to pose in various types of ways until we heard a car honking out front. Christian looks over the gate and turns to Daniel and waves us over.

"Your carriage awaits, your highness." He says, holding out his hand in a grand gesture. I giggle as I accept his hand and we walk out to the drive way.

We are greeted by a Tesla, with Jack and Zach in the front seats. I am speechless, and Daniel seems to be too.

"Well what are you waiting for? Get in!" Jack says, with one arm casually hanging one arm over the window. We do as he says and drive off to the venue.

We got to the venue, it was on top of a hill covered by a huge tent. The poles were wrapped with lights and plants, it was magical. We find an empty table and I put my purse down. Daniel holds his hand out, keeping his eyes to mine. I take his hand as we walk towards the dance floor.

I put my arms around his neck as he puts his around my waist. We dance to the music in silence, not sure what to say. This whole day I've been speechless. I lean in slightly closer to his ear to whisper something to him.

"Thank you." He looks down at my eyes, smiling.

"What do you have to thank me for?"

"I don't know. Everything? I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you." I keep a steady contact with his eyes. His oh so blue eyes.

"I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. I wouldn't have even gone if it weren't for you." I take a minute to think about it, I break eye contact getting lost in my thoughts

"Yeah, I guess." He lifts my chin up with his finger.

"We need each other." My face gets warm and a smile grows on my face. "Let's get out of here."

I quickly turn my head back to him, "What? Why?"

"Just trust me." He takes my hand and we get my purse. We leave the venue and hike down to a hill nearby. As we get closer to the top, he tells me to close my eyes and I follow.

We reach the top of the hill and he takes my hand and tells me to open. I open my eyes to see a million lights below me. We casually sit on the ground, he puts his jacket over my shoulders. Without even meaning to, I put my head on his shoulder, and he puts his arm around me.

"This is amazing Daniel."

"This is one of the two reasons why I'd never leave LA."

"What's the other reason?" I look up to him, seeing him looking at me.

"I get to meet amazing people like you." My smile comes back. We continue looking at the scenery.

"This is perfect."

"You're perfect." I look back at him, going back and forth from his eyes to his lips. He does the same thing and I know exactly what's coming next. We both lean closer until locking lips - and it couldn't be more perfect.
