By starting with a new popular YouTube company, I knew I was going to have some unique experiences.

The channel is called PopCult and it reports on news in the pop culture realm. It became quickly popular due to the diversity with the people there, different races, sexualities, and identifications. People love the channel and since we became popular, we started doing interviews. That's where I come in.

When I first started here, I started as an intern that once in a while appeared on screen. Well, apparently with my different appearance, the audience loved me. The ends of my hair dyed pink and purple with my roots a dark brown, my piercings, and tattoos make me different then a lot of people who tend to work on these shows. So, when I started becoming more and more prominent on the channel, they offered me a series where I interview celebrities and fellow social media influencers.

I have done interviews with well known influencers such as David Dobrik, who was actually very polite and made the interviewing process very fun. That one got some of the most views.

One celebrity interview I've done that sticks out in my head, other then bands like Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy, was when I got to interview the cast of Supernatural. Apparently actors mixing with social media influencers was a massive hit and soon I met more and more. Which leads me to today.

I'm sitting in one of those classic unfolding chairs, straightening my yellow skirt down. Across from me is another empty chair and a picture of the cover for Season 15 of Criminal Minds. I'm still not sure how I managed to score an interview with Kristen Vangsness and Matthew Gray Gubler but I'm so glad I did, and I'm glad it's an individual interview, so I'm not asking 2 people questions at the same time. I hear heels and I look to see Kristen walking towards me. I shake her hand and we start the interview.

"Kristen, hello!"

"Hi! Thank you for having me!"

"I can say the same."

The rest of the interview with her went off without a hitch. She was very wonderful, just as happy and preppy as her character Garcia Penelope is. She made me have a good time and forget about my nerves about interviewing my celebrity crush. However, when she walked away all the butterflies came rushing back and I have to fiddle with my clothing more to keep me calm.

"Sarah?" A tech assistant called out.

"Yeah, Alex?"

"Um, can you help me with this camera for a sec? It's not focusing!" He calls. I nod and text the other tech assistant bringing in Matthew to have him sit while I finish up fixing the camera issue.

"What seems to be the problem?" I ask, standing beside him.

"It's not focusing," he says. I nod and begin figuring out the issue when I hear footsteps and my tech friend, Lucas, speak.

"Just have a seat by the poster, Sarah was needed for her marvelous camera skills," I hear a slight laugh as well.

"Got it Alex!" I call out. He walks back to me.

"What was the problem?"

"You turned on autofocus and so you weren't able to manually focus it. The camera apparently wanted to only focus on the poster for some reason," I laugh and step aside. I turn to walk back to my seat and it's like the wind has basement knocked out of me.

Matthew Gray Gubler, sitting there in his brown leather jacket looking at me. I can't describe exactly how he is looking at me, a mixture of fascination and what appears to be attraction but that could be me being hopeful. I walk towards him.
