A/N: Hello my dear readers!

So this is the second book of Doctor Strange X Reader, as the previous one is full and has reached 200 stories.

The cover of the book is by nAVblue

Of course, I'm continuing one-shots about our dear sorcerer.

So here is a one-shot I had when I saw a meme with Peter asking himself something and Wanda replying to him through his mind. I inspired myself from the meme.

Hope you 'll like it.

You grabbed the heavy box and put it on your desk, sighing longly. You were moving into the Avenger Tower, being an Avenger yourself thanks to your pyrokinetic powers.

However, no one was available to give you a hand with your dozens of box and unpacked luggage.

You thought: '' If anyone can hear my mind, I need a distraction right now so hi, how are you?'' rolling your eyes at the stupidity of a possible answer.

As you carried another box, a voice rang in your head, and you froze.

'' Hello, I am alright, thank you, what about you?'' a familiar deep voice responded in kind in your head.

Distracted, you bumped into your desk, yelping in pain as you tried to keep the box in your hands.

'' Oh my God?!' you asked dumbfounded.

A laugh echoed.

'' Try again, darling.''

You frowned.

'' Charles? Charles Xavier? Is that you?" You asked aloud.

A low chuckle erupted in your head again.

'' Of course, darling. Do you need any help with your boxes, I can send Logan, Scott or even Eric. I saw that you have to carry a TV.''

'' Hey Y/N, I'm fine thanks. The mission is almost over. Is everything alright at the Tower?'' asked mentally Wanda.

You blinked and sat down, pondering about how many mind readers they were.

'' I'll be alright Charles, thank you. I'm okay Wanda. I'm nearly finished in carrying the box. I wouldn't have minded Steve, Thor or Bucky. '' you joked.

'' Alright, see you in a bit, Y/N. ''

A sigh escaped your lips and you decided to unpack your luggage to put your clothes in the closet when another familiar voice echoed in your head.

'' You called, mortal?''

Startled, you jumped and dropped the shirt you had in your hands.

'' Wait, you're a mind reader too?!''

His deep voice echoed with a mischievous tone.

'' Oh darling, I have many abilities, would you like me to demonstrate in person?''

You rolled your eyes, recognising the demeanour behind the voice.

'' Loki, I know you are a silver tongue. It's good to know I can call you if I need to.''

A seductive voice echoed loudly in your head, sending shivers down your spine.

'' Always, darling. However, you may be in my favours, don't push your luck. I am still a god, and you are...''

You cut him off.

'' Your Avenger friend. Now, are you busy?''

A silence lingered in your head.

'' Never interrupt me again, Y/N. You are correct though, you are my.... friend. What is it that you need?''

You plead quietly.

'' Can you help me carry the rest of the boxes into my room, please?''

You heard a sigh coming from the dark-haired god, then only a deep silence remained and you guessed it was the end of the conversation.

When you turned around, you spotted the rest of your boxes which had mysteriously appeared in your room. A big smile appeared on your lips and you thought loudly in your head.

'' Thank you, Loki.''

Then another voice rang in your head.

'' Y/N, can you hear me? Is the spell working?''

You tilted your head to the side.

'' Stephen? Since when can you communicate through minds?''

No answer echoed. You guessed he was still trying to master the spell.

You realised you could count on many people to help you and it warmed your heart. You let your mind drift to the mind readers you knew and whispered a ' thank you for being there for you.''

Little did you know, you had warmed their hearts as well.

A/N: The next oneshot, will be about braiding hair. I was thinking of opening a book with avengers x reader, would you like that?
