"Oh my goodness

"Oh my goodness..." I gasped, gripping my bedsheets as I stared up at my bedroom ceiling. "Not again..."

I'd just had another dream about Namjoon and I being together. That's the third time now.

I gulped nervously and tried to ignore my flushed cheeks. Why do I keep having these dreams?

"Come on (Y/n), get it together" I groaned, turning around and burying my face into my pillow.

Over the past few months, I've found myself thinking a lot about Namjoon. I don't know why but I always felt so warm inside around him, and I became very nervous around him.

I've tried to ignore it, but my mind always drifts back to him. I hope this is just a phase!

A sudden knocking on my bedroom door tore me away from my thoughts.

"Who is it?" I asked, sitting up and jumping out of bed.

"It's Joon" A deep voice answered, causing my eyes to widen.

I hastily rubbed my face and brushed my PJs. I don't want him to see me looking like this!

"(Y/n), I'm just letting you know that breakfast is ready" Namjoon called, "There's no need to rush"

"Oh okay!" I breathed. I glanced down and realised I was gripping my PJ top like my life depended on it. I exhaled hard and fell back against my bed.

What is going on with me?!

NAMJOON:

"We chose the perfect day to come here" I smiled, glancing up at the bright blue sky, and the sun blared down at us.

A lovely warmth surrounded us, and not a cloud was in sight. Although we Truebloods can withstand any weather conditions, I always preferred the warmth.

I'd decided to take (Y/n) to the local city's museum, which I loved going to. I've taken the others so many times they shudder every time I mention it. Now it's (Y/n)'s turn, and I hope she likes it too.

"Seems there will be a special event on in the lounge today" I began, opening up the map, "Want to check it out?"

Upon hearing no response, I glanced down at (Y/n) who happened to be gazing at me with doe eyes. A light blush was dusted across her (s/c) cheeks as her eyes remained fixated on me.

Cute.

"Uh, (Y/n)? You good?"

(Y/n)'s eyes widened, and she stumbled back and fell, causing me to grab her.

"J-Joonie!" (Y/n) spluttered and regained her balance. "S-sorry"

She turned away from me, but I could still see a bright red blush across her face.

I've noticed (Y/n) doing that alot lately. I wonder if she's sick?

I smiled and ran a hand through my hair. "Ready to go in?"

"Uh yeah sure!" (Y/n) grinned and we made our way in.

After exploring the various paintings and exhibitions for a while, we reached the lounge, which had clay carvings of all sorts.

"Thanks for coming with me today (Y/n)" I began, admiring the oddly-shaped clay statue.

"It's fine, I'd rather hang out with you than the crazy trio" (Y/n) shuddered as she referred to Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin. "They're always playing crazy tricks on me, and it drives me nuts!"

I couldn't help but chuckle, "I get you, the maknaes truly are something. Took me ages to get used to them"

"How long have you been living together?" (Y/n) asked, causing me to turn to her.

"For the past 10 years. It was me and Seokjin who purchased the home together, and since we already knew everyone from years back, they moved in with us not long after. Jimin joined a good few years later" I explained.

"Wow" (Y/n)'s eyes became starry, "Now you're like one big happy family. How adorable!"

I've gone through some dark times in my life, but if it hadn't been for everyone, especially Seokjin, I don't know what I would've done. Prior to (Y/n) coming into our lives, the boys and I were quite happy. But now she's in our lives; our pack feels complete.

"Wanna get some food?" I asked.

"Sure thing!" (Y/n) grinned enthusiastically, and we ventured toward the museum's cafeteria.

A loud bang suddenly echoed throughout the museum, causing us to stop.

"What was that?" (Y/n) questioned.

"Probably someone knocked over a statue" I smiled, causing her to giggle.

We continued walking, but a few bangs echoed after, followed by hysterical screams.

That's no statue falling... those are gunshots!

My body froze and my heart pounded in my ears as I tried to process our next move.

"What's going on?" (Y/n) whimpered as she gripped onto me, "I-is that-"

I gripped her shoulders, causing her fearful eyes to lock with mine, "(Y/n), we need to get out of here. There is a gunman here, and we need to leave"

Tears brimmed my friend's eyes, causing me to stroke her cheeks. "O-okay"

"So we need to move quickly and safely to the exit" I held out my hand and (Y/n) intertwined her smaller hands with mine.

It's okay my dear, as the Alpha of my Pack, I won't let any harm come to you.

Every moment as we approached the nearest exit, felt like a battle between life and death.

Frightened people lay on the floor, covering themselves, trembling in fear and huddled amongst each other, and some glanced up at us helplessly as we ran past them.

As we finally reached the main entrance, more people lay huddled in fear together, leaving me confused as we were right by the exit.

...Until my eyes landed on the gunman.

Across the main hall, a masked person was dressed in a balaclava and dark clothing as they held a pistol to a woman's head, as she held her child protectively.

"Please..." The woman heaved, "Don't hurt my child. Hurt me instead"

Fear consumed me, as I completely froze at the sight. I feel sick...

After what felt like forever, I tore my head away and I realised we were across from the doors.

Just only, if we can get outside we can get some help!

I turned back to (Y/n) and indicated for her to run. Closer and closer we got to the doors until I heard a loud crunch from under my foot.

NOOOOOO!!!
