Persona 5 & friends Oneshot Book [HIATUS]

Christmas [shutaba]

Context: this oneshot takes place 4 years after the end of the original persona 5 if you decided to date futaba. Also akechi is not evil in this, so yeah, that's a thing.

December 25th 20xx

It had been 4 years since the phantom thieves saved japan, and our favorite group of meddlin' kids have all gathered at leblanc to celebrate Christmas together. Everyone was gathered around the tree that sojiro had hastily set up, and were beginning to open up the presents that they had bought for each other.

"Ooh! An axe! I always wanted one of these!" Haru said, with a malicious glint in her eye.
"Of course morgana would get me a textbook. Thanks a lot Mona."
"No problem skull, you really needed it."
"W-why you little-"
Ryuji dove at morgana, but missed, and slammed into the wall behind the cat.
"Owwwwwwww..."
"Lmao look at this fool!" Futaba squeaked through bursts of laughter.
"I got a... watch? Goro, what is this?
"Its a "dead ringer". It's a magic trick that allows you to fake your own death!"
"Heh... you never cease to amaze me, akechi."
"That's my job, kusuru-kun."
"Oh, looks like there's only one present left!" Makoto said.
"Awww... who's it for?"
"Ahem. "To futaba, from the joker, baby!". I'm assuming it's from you, Akira?"
"Guilty as charged."
"Well? Go on futaba, open it!"
"Okay, okay!"
She tears off the paper, and inside the box...
"A... calling card?"
"Read it out." Akira said.
"Here goes then. *Ahem*"

Futaba chuckled a bit at this part.

When I first met you, I honestly didn't know what to think. My whole world was changed, and both my heart and body burst into flames. At the time, I didn't know why. But now, I understand that what I was feeling, was love.
In the time I've been a phantom thief, you've managed to do what nobody else could.
You stole my heart.
I want you to know that you mean everything to me, more than you could ever know. You give me happiness, and I wouldn't give that up for the world. You are the love of my life. I've been wanting to ask you this for a while, but I've never had the courage to do so. But after thinking on it, this is the perfect time, and I cant let it go to waste.
So, I must ask. Futaba sakura-
"Will you marry me?"

People say that the worst moment in your life comes right after asking someone the question "will you marry me?" The pure anxiety and dread that come with rejection make the pause in between the question and answer feel like torture. But if your lucky enough, and the stars align, the payoff is enormous. The greatest word in the English language...
"Yes! Oh my gosh, Yes!"
Futaba jumped into Akira's arms, filled with the innocence of a child, which only made Akira smile.
