"Somewhere over the rainbow,"

The girl claimed it was the sweetest voice she had ever heard. The warmth a mother can give to a child is so calming. The soft, lean fingers, ran through her silky hair.

Her mother told her she loved her hair.


"Way up high,"

Her mother wanted to sing to the world.

Now she wanted the same thing.

Her favorite thing was the rocking back in forth while she sat in her mother's lap.

Her singing and the sway would put her to sleep. She was at peace because of her mother.

"And the dreams that you dream of,"

The girl swore it wasn't just a child's dream, because she WOULD make it a reality.

How hard can it be to share her voice to the world?

She loved her.

She admired her.

She looked up to her.

She was happy.

Why did it stop?

She questioned it everyday.

She wanted to hear it again.

Her ears craved for melody




But she was gone.

Her mother left.
