You okay?

Are you alright?
I'm fine
Biggest lie
But why waste time with
The truth
"I'm not fine"
People don't care
They may act like they do
But I know people
You good?
I'm fine
You look like you've been crying
I'm fine
You keep blanking out
I'm fine
Even if someone truly cared
How do I explain
What's going on in my head
I don't even understand myself
I haven't talked to you in so long
I'm fine
You barely talk now
I'm fine
You're crying
I'm fine
I mean
That's what we all say
Right?
To avoid long conversations
To avoid having to truly speak our minds
The truth is
No one is truly fine
And I know that
But our generation is too selfish
To admit
So for now and maybe the rest of my life
I'm fine
