Recap:
Some girls noticed Campbell, Jake, and Josh.
They wanted pictures so they got their pictures.
“Ew! It’s Cody’s girlfriend!” One of the girls said, pointing to me.
I looked down at my shoes.
“Why are you even here? Gross, get out!” Another girl said, pushing me.
“Really though, just leave!” Some other girl said.
“Hey! Leave her alone.” Mikala yelled over the loud crowd.
“No, what are you going to do about it? You’re just another fan and this gross girl’s friend. Nothing you can do.” The first girl said.
“Maybe there’s nothing she can do, but there is something we can do.” Jake said, standing by my side.
“Ew, why are you standing up for her?” The second girl said.
“She’s my friend, now leave her alone or else security will be here soon.” Jake said.
“Whatever.” The first girl said, rolling her eyes.
I noticed they had VIP passes around their necks.
“Don’t listen to them. You’re not gross.” Mikala said, hugging me.
I hugged her back.
“Thank you.” I said, letting her go.
She smiled at me.
“Let’s just enjoy this concert and have fun!” She said, as Cody stepped out on stage.
Music started playing, and he started singing some song called ‘So Listen’.
After lots more other songs and more of his amazing dancing, a slow kinda sad type song came on.
Mikala smiled at me.
“This is Not Just You!” She said.
“Oh!” I said, smiling back, and then looking up at the stage once again.
A stool was brought out by one of Cody’s dancers.
The same dancer led a girl out on stage and she sat on the stool.
That must be the Not Just You girl…
“Darling,
I know your hearts seen better times,
I know our songs had better rhymes,
Before Today. No.
Darling, I guess I made the wrong mistakes,
I understand if you need your space,
Please take your time.
Before you go away, so far away,
You need to realize,
Baby it's not just you,
You know it hurts me too.
Watching you leave,
With tears on you sleeve.
