Lost and Found

There is this girl from a place where every one's living is happy and simple.

Where everyone in that town is genuinely happy and helpful to their neighbors, everyone except for the girl who lived 2 blocks away from those happy people.

Her place looks abandoned and dark unlike from the houses of those happy people.

"Dust and Sorrow lives in that place."
Says many of the elderly in that town everytime when someone unfamiliar to that place asked a question.

Her past has never been more tragic but miserable, that's why she lived a life and settled for the darkness.

"Mommy! Please don't turn off the lights, I'm afraid of the dark."

A little child pleaded to her Mom as it was about to leave her room.

But now, seems like darkness have been a calming comfort to her.

She's so excited to grow old so that she can also do what her older cousins do.

But as she grow older, she realized one thing; the more years that will be added to me, the more sad person I will be.

Her past doesn't gave her the true meaning of happiness because they said to her that she has to Do It, Do This, Do that, You have to be like this, You don't have to be like that.

So as soon as she had the chance she ran away from those people and found a place where she thought she won't be noticed. But "I was wrong" she told herself, these people are happy and loves party so she then tried to run away but as she looked back, she saw those people who wants her to play the role of someone she's not.

So she has no choice but to stay in that place and walk thinking about finding a safe refuge where she can stay.

And finally she found a house where she can hide.

For years, she lived her life in that town peacefully yet the brokenness inside her hasn't been repaired.

It can't be repaired, It will never be repaired.

She said to herself.

That was she thought.

"Take care okay? Enjoy!"

"Mom! I'm not a kid anymore, so stop kissing me in the cheek like a little child." He said while wiping his cheek with disgust

"Old or not, you're still my little boy. Now go." His Mother said

After hearing of what his Mother's word he stormed out of the living room and went out of the house.

And suddenly his favorite song played

"Bro, where are you? We're near, get ready." someone who has a masculine voice said.

"I'm always ready bro." He replied with a smirk on his face

Minutes have passed, his friends came and picked him up.

"Where exactly are we going again?" He asked

"To the place where you can meet joyful people." One of his friends replied with a playful smile on his lips

"Whatever." he said to himself

After a couple of hours, his friends woke him up, he didn't realize that he fell asleep.

After going out of the car he was frozen to his place while looking at a destination where you can see lots of people dancing and singing with the song.

On the other side, he also noticed the people who's happily eating their meals outside the restaurant.

"Bro, come on we're going now to the house that we rented for a week."

Yeah right, a week with his friends in this crazy town.

As he walked next to his friends he noticed a house that's different from the other houses in that place and he was curious about it but then again he shrugged the thought off and said to himself to enjoy instead.

They reached the house and distributed the rooms by partner and to his surprise the room where he was destined was right across the house that he saw awhile ago

Creepy, he said to himself and then closed the curtains.

Days have passed and he won't deny it. He is enjoying the company of the people here

"I'll be back I forgot something in the house." He said to his friends and left them

As he was walking observing the beautiful houses of that place

"Ouch!"

He bumped into someone

Before he knew, he was staring at the girl who is laying down at the floor *thanks to him* wearing a black dress and a white sneakers

"Sorry, I didn't see you coming."

He reached his arm to help her get up, so the girl gave her hands to him.

Shocked and Amazed by the lady's beauty the next thing he said made the atmosphere between them awkward

"In exchange of making you sit on the floor let me treat you, I'll make it up to you if that's okay?" He asked hoping for the girl's reply would be yes.

Looking down and shy she replied "Okay."

Wait what am I doing? She silently scolded herself, you didn't know him for pete's sake!

But then again, when she saw this man standing in front of him feels like her burden has been removed for awhile.

She snapped back from reality when the boy asked him about something.

"Where do you live?" He asked

"There." She looked with diffidence on her face as she point out her house

Looking at where she is pointing out, He was shocked.

"Oh you're my neighbor then?" He replied and saw that she was shocked

They stayed at the place where He treated him for an hour or more talking and asking some questions and llaughing to one another

They both lost track of time with each other, He forgot about his friends waiting for him and She forgot about the hurt that she has been always feeling.

Days have passed and He can't deny that He fell inlove with the girl, she told her about her past and why is she living like that and from hearing that, he suddenly felt the feeling of she has to protect her and found out to himself that he has already fallen for her.

On the other side, the girl seems that she has forgotten about her past already because He met him and made him realize that with him it's totally okay to act the way she wanted to, that she don't have to force herself to act like someone again.

They both Found themselves happy with each other's company.

The day that the He needs to go back to their place came

"Bro come on! We have to go it's getting late!" his friend said

He looked at the window where the girl is looking with a sad smile in her face

The thought of living her break his heart but he has to go back so he enter his friends' car

I'm left alone again she said to herself, "I thought I will be happy again.. but that was just an imagination because I will never be happy again" with a bitter smile she whispered to herself and as she watch the car leaving the town where her first love is.

As she was about to walk away 'Again' From the window where she's at she saw Him going back running and as soon as she saw him her heart skipped a beat and stormed out of her house and waited for Him to reach her

As He soon reach her he hugged her tight and said "I can't leave you alone, let me be by your side and help you heal your wounds from your past and make another happy memories together."
