I woke up to see a blurry person over me. His brown hair was messy and his green eyes popped out. Then my vision clear out to see a very stressed Ash. Shit.
"Evan how could you do this? Why in the hell would you hit a girl in the head with a bat?!" Ash screamed.
" Uhhhh I don't know, I guess because I'm drunk? Look this is not my problem. The girl is your problem now." Evan slurred.
"That girl has a name and it's Lillian. Leave now I can't handle your drunk ass right now"
Evan got up and left and Ash covered me with a blanket. He started dabbing my head with a wash cloth. " I'm so sorry" He whispered. He quietly left me in the room of darkness. Such a bad idea. I slowly got up and a rush of voices came to my head. All around me were shadows and a little girl crying in the corner. She looked to be about 6 years old. "I'm so sorry, it's all my fault. Please I beg of you, don't hurt me" she sobbed.
I walked silently up to her and asked "What do you mean? I'm here to help."
She turned around with an missing eye, her jaw was hanging out of place. She was crying blood with bruises and cuts all over her body. She stared at me for a few moments.
"I'm so sorry, I should have listened. I should have snapped her neck when I could of... Yes I understand...... But she's my sister!!........Fine, I'll do it only because I'll get to see her again....Don't report me to Him." I stared at her, listening to the one sided conversation. She must be talking to someone. She kept rambling on has I look at her tangle red hair. All of a sudden she looked at me with her big purple eyes.
"You should most likely go. You wouldn't want to upset Him now do we?. Oh by the way, I know your little secret. I'm not talking about speaking to ghost. Another people Know too." She suddenly disappeared and I stood there stunned. How did she know? Let alone more people?
"Why are you staring at that corner?"
I jumped at surprise and turning around while accidentally hitting Ash in the face.
"Opps. I'm sorry. Are you ok?"
"Since when do you care?"
"Since when do you decide to care for me?" I asked ignoring his question.
"Answer my question."
" Answer mine and I'll answer yours."
With a huff of a breath, his anger rising. He said the one word I never thought he would.
"Forever" Then he stormed off.
