MIRU
When I told you that I suck at sports, I meant it. I thought of dancing as a sport because it makes me sweaty. Dancing to hip hop was already hard enough for me, but after today, I changed my mind.
"Miru, you're too stiff!" One of the theater club members complained.
I, as Amissa, was supposed to dance gracefully at the ball in a gown. But apparently, a scarecrow can dance better than me.
"Can I just change my role? I really can't dance." I said, sighing because no matter what I tried, I looked stupid.
"What do you mean? Of course you can't. The roles and the script are settled and you can't just make changes however you want just because you can't dance." The director, Nami said.
Juyeon, who was talking to the art club members noticed the tension. He walked up to us and asked, "What's going on?"
"Miru's dance is very stiff and she asked to change her role. Changing the dance to something can also be complicated because we also have to change the details we've discussed." Explained Nami. I inwardly groaned. I felt like I might get kicked out of the acting team and I really liked acting. But I can't dance and they were forcing me to dance to a classical song. If I don't do it right, the whole scene would look awkward.
Juyeon was quiet and he was looking at me. "Look, Miru. I can choose to change the dance and think of something else, but we have to fit the theme here. The story we are telling is from the royal era and you, Amissa, are in a ball. All of the characters that will be on stage with you are also slow dancing. If I change it, we all have to change what everyone was supposed to do before and after you dance.
You're not only burdening me, but also Nami and the others. I'm not trying to be the mean one but please think of others. I also have to discuss a lot of things with the art club. If you won't try to do it, I can always replace you with another member in the property team who wants your role." Said Juyeon and I couldn't do anything but stay quiet. What he said was true. I have to try hard if I still want to be in the acting team.
"I'm sorry. I will try my best." I said, bowing to everyone.
"I gave you this role because I believe you can do it." Juyeon said, patting my shoulder a couple of times. "Yunseo will teach you the moves and you guys can find time to practice. Good luck, Miru." He threw me a genuine smile and I returned it. He then left to continue the discussion with the art club.
"It's okay, if Juyeon says he believes in you, that means he sees potential and he knows you will do it well. I understand how you feel." Yunseo said, stepping closer to me. "So when should we start?"
"I don't know. I'll just follow your schedule since I'm mostly free." I said. To be completely honest, I wasn't that close to Yunseo so learning with her could be quite awkward but I had to. Plus, we're in the same club for a while so it shouldn't be too awkward.
I looked over to where Taehyung was standing and found that he was already sitting with his legs crossed right beside the wall. Apparently, he hasn't gone back to his dorm yet and was looking at what he filmed. He had his eyes on me, making me feel embarrassed that he had to see me get scolded.
He's probably gonna make fun of me later.

My mind wasn't focused on the exam that day. We were having a test for economics subject. I finished the exam but I just stayed in my seat because no one else was done yet.
Today, the teacher told us to sit according to our attendee's numbers. That means I had to sit next to the window, on the third row. I took that opportunity to appreciate the view of our school's back yard. Sequoia Fine Arts Academy was always known to have a big backyard planted by pretty trees and flowers. It was always under the good care of our school's gardeners.
