*BRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIING*

The sound of a school bell rang, finishing out the last day of school and the beginning of summer vacation. All the students started rushing out of their classrooms, but there was one student who came out last. This is Scott Woods, a 17-year-old (almost 18) who just finished his Junior year and he was ready to start his summer vacation. Just as he was about to walk out...

"HEY SCOTT! WAIT UP!"

Until a voice shouts out his name. He looks behind him and sees his friend running towards him before he trips himself and falls to the floor. Scott winces as he looks at his poor friend. He quickly runs to his aid and helps him up.

"Hey Derrick, are you ok? That was a nasty fall." Scott asked.

"I'm fine. I just wanna catch up to you before you leave." Derrick said.

This is Derrick Owen. He was actually a loner so he didn't have many friends until he became friends with Scott. Ever since he was defended by some bullies. He asked Scott if they could be friends, and look how it turned out.

"So, how are you gonna spend your summer, Scott?" Derrick asked.

"I don't know, I haven't planned anything for this summer. Guess I haven't put in too much thought." Scott said.

"Well... maybe we could hang out at your house," Derrick suggested.

"And do what exactly?" Scott asked.

"Maybe play some video games!" Derrick suggested.

"Well... ok. After all, we haven't hung out in a long time." Scott said.

"Cool, I'll see you at 6:00 in the afternoon?" Derrick asked

"Sure, make sure you also bring the snacks," Scott said

"Ok! See you there!" Derrick yelled goodbye as they parted ways back to their homes.

Scott was on his way to a nearby store to get a few snacks. As he opened the door to the store and walks in, someone came out of a corner, and the both of you bumped into each other, knocking each other down. Scott heard some items fall everywhere around him, so he opened his eyes and looked in front of him and sees a beautiful girl with purple hair, eyes, makeup, etc. She was wearing a buttoned-up shirt and an indigo-colored tight mini skirt. Scott found the overuse of purple on her a little strange. Maybe she really likes the color purple? He wasn't sure.

He took those thoughts out of his head and asked her, "Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about it." She responded before she started to grab her items.

"Oh! Let me help you there, miss." Scott said and helped her picking up her items and putting them back into the bags.

"My, aren't you such a gentleman~" She flirted, making Scott blush at the compliment. "Anyways, thank you so much for your help."

"It was no problem at all ma'am. And... sorry for bumping into you. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings" Scott said as he rubbed at the back of his head before he chuckled awkwardly.

"It's okay dear. What's your name, anyway?"

"Scott, Scott Woods. And you?"

"Veronica Afton. But, you can call me Violet." Violet said. When he heard her last name was Afton, for some weird reason it sounded familiar to him, like he heard it from somewhere else. But from where?

"Well, I better get going. Hope we see each other again soon, Scott~" Violet said, and then she walked off.

Scott turned around to proceed into the store, but then he noticed something laying on the floor. He quickly thought that Violet must have forgotten this one. Scott grabbed the rectangular small package and quickly rushed out of the store looking for her and cried out, "Violet! Violet wait, you forgot about-"
