A voice broke my thoughts. I whirled around to the direction of my friend,Jacob who was scoffing at my presence. "Move out my way!" He growled, sauntering past me. I raised a brow. "Well hey too Friend!". He didn't respond. In fact, he never responds at all to what ever i say to him. How can he treat me like that? He's my friend! Well, I call him my friend. But he clearly thinks otherwise.
"Jacob!" I called, catching up to him. My book bag bounced upon my back. "What are you doing for the science fair? Huh?" . Jacob glared straight forward, not returning a lick of eye contact. His mouth never opened, neither. I slightly frowned. "Jaaaaaaacooooooo-"
"WHAT ALANA!".
I winced slightly. "N-Never mind. . ." my voice trailed off. Iooked down at my soft, carmel hands. They were sweating like crazy. I could feel Jacob's gaze at me. Although, I never felt any sorrow in his look. I heard a rough sigh. "How do different liquids affect plant growth?"
I looked up,flustered at his speaking.
"That's my project," He mumbled, moving his gaze away from me. "Oh. I don't know mine yet, im kinda lackin-" I looked to expect him listening to what I had t say, Instead, I saw him nowhere in sight. "Great." I drawled, slumping my shoulders. My book bag fell from over the shoulder I held it on. It fell right in my hands.
My sweaty hands.
I sighed deeply and whirled around to walk towards the cafeteria, although it wasn't time to go to class yet The bell rings at 8:10.
I started to saunter down the empty hallways when I heard a slight sound.
Mmmmmmm...
I dropped my bags to the polished school floors. I glanced around at my surroundings, wondering who made that despicable sound.
Mmmmmmmmm.....
The minor tone rung in my ears. I held my head and winced in pain.

I spun around to the noises. Noises, everywhere.
