new day , new semester

the teacher introduced
the girl , who's name
we all now know as
yerin , to the whole class .

the boy was sleeping ,
completely oblivious
that the girl is now his
classmate .

jeno nudged him awake ,
pointing to where the
girl was before jaemin
sat straight up and stared
at her .

he was wondering why
she puts up her hood when
she looks very beautiful .

but then he shrugged the
thought off and thought
that maybe it was her
first day yesterday which
was why she didn't want
to talk to anybody .

" you may sit with
na jaemin , that boy
over there"

after hearing his name ,
he smiled , waving at
the girl whose eyes
widened and hesitantly
walking towards the seat .

she bowed a little before
taking a seat beside him .

for all these while , he couldn't
get his eyes off her .

he held out his hand for
a handshake , saying
" i'm na jaemin , hi lee yerin"

the girl stared at his hands
for awhile and finally
shook it .
