Third person pov

Mikasa sat on the edge of the small bathtub in her bathroom of her apartment. There were still frequent alarms and warning about titans (which Eren screamed about constantly when they were out and about), but other than that, the home that Mikasa and her friend Sasha shared was pretty safe and peaceful.

The only reason that they weren't sharing houses with their boyfriends was because Eren was given a small room adjacent to Corporal Levi's apartment to stay in because a certain titan obsessed woman liked to study him.

They were trying to find out a way to expand Eren's lifespan, since titan shifters only live for ten years. Speaking of titan shifters, Annie lived close by with Armin as her roommate. Connie on the other hand shared an apartment with Jean, to his dismay.

But the good part of it was that he could cross between Sasha and his own room via a wooden plank. He would often do this at night, and the pair would eat food, talk about things, or play games on the old thing they found, called a "Nintendo Switch".

Well that's all that Mikasa knows about. She would fall asleep after they played a couple of games and ate some sandwiches. She woke up early, at about 6:30, and get out of bed at 7:00 after thinking about various things for thirty minutes. These things had at least one thing in common.

They involved Eren. Mikasa hated to admit it aloud, but she was absolutely smitten for her boyfriend. But when she was alone, she couldn't help but think upon the fact that she loved him.

Of course, the only reason she could really call him her boyfriend was because all the other couples may or may not have set them up together. The Springles couple played a big part in this, as did the AruAnnie couple. LeviHan was out of town to collect resources for the elixir that they were trying to make.

A beeping of a timer shook Mikasa out of her thoughts, and she got up to turn it off. To comfort herself, she told herself that whatever the results, she would get through it. It was part of her logic, to keep on living, not just for herself, but for her friends and boyfriend also.

She shook her head and brought herself to stare at the tiny object on the bathroom counter. The two lines confirmed her suspicion.

She was pregnant.

Her first immediate thought was to tell her friends, and being the blunt person she was, she walked into Sasha's room (where she was eating potato chips and watching a show) and said, "I'm pregnant."

Sasha literally fell out of her bed (which Mikasa thought was very funny because she's crazy like that) and spilled her snack everywhere. Then when it sunk in, her eyes lit up and she grabbed Mikasa's hands and jumped up and down with a huge grin.

"Let's go tell everyone!" She shouted, and dragged the black haired girl down the stairs, out the door, and over to Connie and Jean's apartment. They told Connie, who had an "about time" look on, and Sasha dragged him along with them to go to tell everyone else.

(They thought that Jean heard because they heard a thump like someone had fallen down the stairs, but since nobody likes him, they didn't really care.)

The group bumped into Armin and Annie on the way. The pair were walking back from their favorite tree, and after they heard the news, they wanted to tag along to tell the rest of their friends.

Their original plan was to literally march up to Eren's apartment and tell him, but Hange was examining him and Levi was told not to let anyone in because she could mess up on the test potion.

So naturally when the group asked to see Eren to tell him something important, Levi who was standing outside said, "Fucking brats. Can't you tell that something important's going on in there? Give me a message to pass along to him." The corporal rolled his eyes.

"If it's all the same to you, we'll come back later. You don't really need to kn—"Mikasa started, but was interrupted by Sasha squealing, "SHE'S PREGNANT!!!!!" Mikasa turned around and gave her best friend a glare that could send shivers down anyone's spine, but Sasha was too ecstatic to notice.

Levi didn't look surprised at all, he just barked a laugh and said, "Good luck with that, Ackerman. All I gotta say is, don't let that Jaeger brat run around and brag to everyone how he's gotten his girl knocked up. Cause I was the first to marry and knock up mine."

And on that note, Levi opened the door to the slightly shocked group to reveal Eren looking up at the ceiling while laying flat on the bed, and Hange sitting on a small stool in the corner, pouring strange looking chemicals into a vial.

"Ohayo minna! What can I do for you guys?" Hange smiled. "Didn't you hear from Sash's outburst outside?" Connie asked, genuinely surprised that the brown haired woman with glasses didn't hear. She shook her head and tilted it in confusion.

"Did Levi complain to you for me eating his sandwich? Cause I was hungry and he was being meaner to me than usual and—" Hange babbled, and Mikasa put her hand on her shoulder, saying, "No, Oba-San. We were just here to tell Eren something."

"Well what is it Mika?" Eren sat up in bed, and gave said girl a questioning look.

Hange perked up even more in curiosity and gestured for her niece (in law?? idk man) to sit down next to her. "Tell me, tell me!" She squealed, stars in her eyes. Taking a deep breath, Mikasa thought, Well, here goes everything.

"Uhhh, so I just found out today, and I wanted to say that, um..." Mikasa's eyes darted around the room in nervousness. Her heart pounded, and she choked out, "I'm pregnant." Silence enveloped the room as the information sunk into Eren and Hange.

"Congrats! I'm so happy! I should start preparing for your examinations, oh, a hybrid child! I'm not sure if this has ever happened before, and..." Hange babbled on, as Mikasa stared at her boyfriend, who appeared to be in a state of shock.

"A...baby?" Eren whispered. Mikasa took his hands in hers and stared deep into his eyes, looking for any sadness or regret. When she found none, Eren kissed her lips tenderly.

"Thank you Mikasa." Eren hugged her, and she blushed. "Why are you thanking me?" She asked.

Eren smiled, a bright, jubilant smile that gave Mikasa joy deep in her soul.

"Thank you for giving me a family."

That was so cute ;(
