Late Nights and Memories

Usually, people would be getting off work maybe six or seven at night. It's very uncommon for someone to be getting off at six in the morning, yet for Angel, this was the time she had become accustomed to. After she graduated high school, she moved to New York City, as well as received her CNA certification. She quickly found a job at the hospital as a night shift CNA.

Working 12-hour shifts was not fun at all in the slightest. Especially if one is doing them three or four days in a row. After another long night, Angel was more than ready to strip out of her uniform and plop into bed. As she walked in the door, she wasted not times dropping her keys into her bowl and dropping her bag by the door.

As she made her way to her room, Angel passed by a photo hanging on the wall. She smiled as she traced her finger's over the photo frame. It was a family picture that consisted of Angel, Spencer, and her daughter. Yuai.

Shortly after Angel had moved to New York, she met and fell in love with a turtle named Raphael. Things were going great until she fell pregnant. After a night of drinking and watching football, she and Raphael had slept together, completely forgetting to use protection. It didn't take long afterward for her to fall pregnant.

During the pregnancy, Angel and Raphael's relationship started to go south. They were always arguing about different issues, and eventually, broke up. They had realized that they weren't right for each other, so why waste time trying to fix a relationship that wasn't going to work anyway.

Angel took the break up hard for a couple of months, but eventually, she started to get better. It wasn't until Angel gave birth to Yuai that things began to look up. The moment she looking into Yuai's eyes, she knew right away that this baby, her baby, would be everything to Angel. Raph and Angel still kept in contact, and they remained close friends. He even had a new girlfriend, Tamara. Tamara was incredibly respectful and kind to Angel, regardless of her and Raph's past together. Angel really liked Tamara and didn't mind her being around Yuai. It wasn't long after Raph had moved on that Angel met Spencer. She had been looking for a few books for Yuai when she met Spencer. It was a bookstore that also had a coffee shop, and as Angel was looking through books, she accidentally bumped into Spencer, spilling his coffee on him. To this day, she and Spencer still laugh about how they met.

Little did Angel know that day that Spencer would be the love of her life. It didn't take long after they met before Spencer and Angel went on their first date. While most would go out to eat or even go out to dance, Spencer had a different take. He and Angel decided to watch a movie together in his apartment. They made popcorn for sharing and cuddled together on the couch. The moment Angel knew that she wanted to marry Spencer came the day he met Yuai, Raph, and Tamara. Angel had Raph and Tamara over for dinner since they weren't going to be in the city for Yuai's birthday. Instead of being upset, they decided to celebrate Yuai's birthday early. It wasn't too extravagant. Just dinner, some cake, and a couple of presents. Angel wasn't expecting Spencer at her apartment since he was out on a case for the FBI. However, as luck would have it, the case wrapped up early, and Spencer decided to come over to her apartment unannounced.

Angel, Raph, Tamara, and Yuai were hanging out in the living room when the doorbell rang. Angel looked over at the door, confused as to who it could be. Raph was also curious as he looked over at Angel from the loveseat couch, his arm around Tamara's shoulders. "You expecting company Angel?" He asked as she stood up.
