**fluff**

It was a beautiful day and the weather reflected your mood perfectly; sunny, warm, slight breeze. Seems like such a shame for you to have to spend such a day stick inside a classroom but you were one of the few children who actually enjoyed learning... just not the studying part afterwards.

You said goodbye to your parents before shutting the door behind you and left the house ready to start your journey to school. You'd taken no more than 10 steps out of the door before something- rather someone stopped you in your tracks.

"Aurem-ah!" You turned at the sound of your name being called. Yeonjun came to a stop in front of me, cheeks flushed pink, panting and slightly out of breathe.
"Oh, Yeonjun-ah. Why were you running? You literally live 3 doors away." He flashed me a smile in response.
"To catch up with you of course. We always walk together" he said wrapping your arm around his. His words and actions caused you to blush. After all these years, you still couldn't get used to the amount of skinship Yeonjun felt was needed between the two of you.
"Yah, I would've waited for you. You didn't need to run, you could've tripped and fell" you scolded him, a pout forming on your lips at the sheer thought of him getting hurt.
"Aww, Aurem-ah. You care for me so much" he said and gave you a kiss on your cheek and flashed you that beautiful cheeky grin of his, "Thank you"

You froze in your tracks. He just kissed you. Yeonjun just kissed you. Choi Yeonjun just kissed you! Yeah it was only a peck on the cheek but oh my was your heart racing. Your hand flew to the same cheek whilst your other tried to slow down your frantic erratically beating heart. You felt your whole face heat up. He hadn't seemed to notice you'd stopped walking until he was a few steps ahead of you, too busy grinning to himself. He looked back at you, wondering why you weren't by his side, and as soon as it came, his grin dropped from his face and was replaced by worry. His eyebrows furrowed as he stepped towards you, concern written all over his face.

"Aurem-ah, what's wrong?" He lightly touched your forehead. "Wow, you're burning up. Do you have a fever?"
You shook your head in response and batted his hands away, not able to look him in the eye.
"Ah, I understand now. It was too much pda for you to handle. Sorry, Reumie, I'll try and keep the pda to a minimum, okay?" He apologised using the nickname he gave you when you first met.

"It's okay, let's go to school now. We'll be late if we don't hurry." You said, hurrying along. So many thoughts were racing through your head at that moment. Yeonjun easily caught up to you and slowly but slyly slid his arm around yours, watching your face to gage your reaction. Once he was content he gave your arm a little squeeze and you two engaged yourself in conversation on your way to school.

Despite living so close, your lockers happened to be on opposite sides of the school. Yeonjun, like always, dropped you off at your locker before he heading to his, winking as he left. You felt heat return to your cheeks once again.

"Girl, just confess already!" Your friend Hayoung expressed, leaning up against her locker. She was watching you with a smile on her face.
"Good morning to you too" you retorted, rolling your eyes and grabbing your books out of your locker, which happened to be situated right
"Do you not see the way he looks at you? Are you blind or just plain oblivious?" She goes on, "If only a boy could show me that type of love and affection" a far away look planted on her face.
"Excuse you! Guys practically fall over themselves in order to just get a smile from you" you threw you're hands in the air exasperated. "You could literally have any guy here"
"It's not the same as what you and Yeonjun have" Hayoung whined. "All the guys here just want me for arm candy" she complained with a pout.
"What about Soobin?" you smirked. She blushed, hard.
"What about him?" She retorted, avoiding your gaze. You were about to continue teasing her but you were interrupted by the bell.
"Come on, let's get to class before we're late" Hayoung grabbed your arm and dragged you along, dropping the situation for now.
