It was time for a new year at Royale Academy. Mrs. Faragonda was getting ready for her final week there. She finished putting on a white blouse and a lavender skirt on. She put on a darker purple jacket. Then placed pretty one-inch heels which matched the skirt. She then put her white hair in a fancy bun and put on her dark purple rimmed glasses. The night before she had also painted her nails with a clear coat of nail polish. She then placed a ruby red brooch in the center of her outfit.

Mrs. Faragonda then got in her car to drive to Royale Academy. After a few minutes of driving, she had arrived. She got out of her car greeting students who had already arrived. She then proceeded up the stairs and across the bridge to the front doors. She was instantly greeted with teachers at the door and the signup desks. After talking to everyone Mrs. Faragonda made her way to her office. When she opened the door she felt memories rushing back towards her.

Although it had been three months since she last saw her beloved office it was spotless. The janitors came the week before and cleaned it leaving everything except for dust and unwanted papers. She went to her desk and sat in her chair. After several minutes of looking around, she stood up and searched her pockets for keys. After she found them she bent down to open her cabinet door.

Inside she found her old diaries and favorite books to read in her spare time. She took them and looked through the pages. Throughout all of them, it helped her remember her time at this beloved school. She put the diary down and went to the corner of the room where her briefcase was. She grabbed it and went back to place all her belongings neatly within. She then opened the windows and gazed at the nearby field. She turned on the fireplace and grabbed her books which laid atop.

After placing all her books and belongings into her briefcase she looked on her desk seeing a photo of her and her deceased husband. She touched the photo in admiration and placed it gently in her briefcase. She looked around at the office and sighed. She couldn't believe it. After twenty years at Royale Academy, she was going to a different school. The school was called Enchantix High. She wanted to go there because, like most students, she was also a fairy.

Her younger sister, Thana would become the new headmistress. She would be known as Ms. Gretchen. She had no doubts that her sister would be perfect for the job. They had been together since Thana was born, so she knew how great she would be with helping students to thrive. Thana always had a special thing with children and she felt confident in her sister.

Mrs. Faragonda left her office seeing that more students had arrived. She went up the grand stairs and into the student quarters. She saw some students hanging out and others testing locker combinations. She left and made her way to the dorms. It had always made her happy when new students saw their rooms for the first time. Even meeting their roommate was fun and new. She went to the balcony and looked above the swimming pool. She could see that some students were already swimming.

She looked around and saw the bakery. A newer and great thing. She had always loved the new pastries students would make for themselves and their teachers. Although she would have to leave all of it behind. Her last day was Friday. It brought a few tears to her eyes realizing that she would have to say her final goodbye.
