Skyler was an plus sized woman and she thick, because of this, she been made fun of because of her weight.  She used to the insults and fat jokes. Kids make fun of her all the  time when she was growing up.

She was born and raised in an household with her single mother who always working to make ends meet.  Being born and raised in an  ghetto  neighborhood. Where it's always something happening in the neighborhood. 

She sigh as she listen to her gossiping co-workers. She can't wait to go home.    It's always the same here.  Everyone is messy here.  The only friend she got is Jessica Stewart.  An beautiful young white woman. She knew her for years.childhood friend.

When it was time to go home, she wish her supervisor well before leaving for home.

"I don't understand why an fat ass bitch like you even working here for. Nobody loves you except you're own mother and everyone knows you are an hoe"Britt said. Rudely as her friends laugh as they slap her hand.

Skyler smile knowing her friend will stand up for her.

The two friends head home for tonight.

Skyler wish Jessica goodbye before heading inside her house. 

"Hey sweetie, how work was honey?" Her mother asked.

"The same, Britt and her friends was making of fun of me as usual"She said.

"It's will get better sweetie, God got you"Her mom said.

"I hope so mom, I'm tired of all these people coming for me"She said

"I wouldn't let these these women get to me if I was you Skyler, I swear these girls act like they still in high school"Her mom said chuckling making her daughter giggle. 

"You right mom" She said smiling

"Go get clean up and I will get dinner ready"Her mom said

"Alright mom."She said heading upstairs to the bathroom.

She went in the bathroom and took an shower. 

"I don't understand these women, I didn't ask to be this big. I'm tired of the fat jokes, the teasing and being make fun of."Skyler said to herself as she wash her natural curly hair.  She hear her mother singing gospel songs as usual.

Skyler smile.  Her mother recently got saved and ever since then. She change. She was never an mean mother but she wasn't an religious person. She believe in God but never was highly religious. 

Skyler then turn off the shower and got out the shower. She dry off before heading out the bathroom and to her bedroom.  She enter her room and change clothes.

She turn on her radio on.  She turn it on an station.

She smile when you're are not alone was playing. 

Skyler heard her mother calling her"Skyler time for dinner"Her mom said.

"i be there mom, give an few minutes" She said.

"Okay but don't wait too long, you're food will get cold"Her mom said

Skyler listen to the song. Her heart warm up at the lyrics. She start singing along to the song. 

Not many people know that she got musical talent.  She can sing and so can her mother. 

When the song  go off, she went downstairs to eat dinner.

"So Skyler any plans for the weekend?"Her mom asked.

"Well Jessica wants to take me an club or bar somewhere"She said. ..

"Alright Skyler, have fun, don't do something I would do."Her mom said chuckling.

"What going to happen mom? I'm not going to something bad"She said

They sat down and ate dinner.
