School is a pain and when I say pain I mean it. Every day is the same thing time and time again. Lucky for me I have some friends of mine to be beside me while we all share this burden. Sometimes things get out of our hands and we just have to deal with it...god I hate a lot of things right now...well this is what life is putting ahead of me. All of these walls and barriers I have to somehow cross. I swear every single time it gets so much harder...I'll never catch a break...I guess I'll just have to jump over the barriers. Good thing I have my friends by my side...most of the time anyway.
"Amy! You coming?! I've been waiting for you!!"
Crylline. I smiled to myself. 'Maybe this won't be so bad after all?' I thought to myself sliding on my grey hoodie before grabbing my bag and headphones off of my desk. I wear what I wear every day...my grey hoodie with a white shirt underneath with my shorts over my leggings. Completed with my black calf-high boots, black beanie, and headphones.
Crylline is one of my three friends. There is also Saren and Kevin. Crylline wears a black jacket over a grey turtleneck shirt with black ripped skinny jeans.
Kevin always wears black jeans and a white and black striped T-shirt with a band over his left wrist. We all have a tattoo on our left arm. It wasn't always there but one day when we all transformed it was just there and we couldn't get it off.
Saren wears a black hoodie with black skinny jeans. He also wears a black beanie just like me. Me and him always have headphones on us so we can find the inspiration to write lyrics.
I touched the picture of all of us in my mirror one last time with a smile. 'I'm glad I have you guys' I whispered to myself before walking out of my room.
Closing my bedroom door I looked back at my sibling's rooms with a sneer. 'I'm so glad I get to leave for a good 6 to 14 hours from all of you assholes!' I shook my head and rushed out the front door.
"Sorry for taking so long! You know my mom...it's always 'wait I need you to do this' or 'can you do this real quick' god it's such a damn pain!!" I said using air quotes to add emphasis.
She laughed under her breath. "Well, maybe that's because she knows your going to do it! You are the only one in your house who gives a shit anyway,"
I sighed knowing it was true. Sometimes I can be such a damn pushover...I hate it but I have to do that at home or god knows what chaos would ensue...
"So, you ready to turn in that project for Mr. Stacy?"
I tugged on my straps. "I'm not sure, I think it's ready but then again maybe there's something I forgot to check..." I started to pull my bag off of my back before her hand stopped me. "I'm sure it's fine, don't get so stressed over it! You don't need it to be perfect, just being a good project is good enough for Mr. Stacy,"
She is right...Mr. Stacy is one of the more laid back teachers. He teaches stage crew and knows a lot about music and art. And seeing as I love music and writing it seems like the perfect fit.
"I'm just glad we have Mr. Stacy last period." I paused putting my hands behind my head and taking in a deep breath of air.
"I love ending the hellish school day with my own safe haven!" I waved my hands around while talking.
"You got that damn right!" She yelled. We both laughed after this statement. God, it feels so good to laugh before my day is going to go downhill.
