CHAPTER I.

Before Death 04.15.2020

The world seemed to hate me. Nothing is going in my way no matter what I do, when will this end? I can't help but wonder and ask myself why I am suffering.

I sip my coffee and tied my hair. I am sitting at the balcony of my house. I don't have anyone, my family is a wreck. My father is a drug addict and he always beat my mom and me. There came a time that he almost killed my mom because she won't give him money to gamble. My mom did not have anything so she sold their engagement ring and gave my dad the money. I felt sorry for mom, she only wanted a complete family that's why she won't leave my dead even though I always ask her to leave him. She will just say that "he's your father, please understand him okay?" even though she wanted to cry she won't let me see her. When I was little I always ask her where she got those bruises and wounds and she would say that she tripped or she fell down the stairs.

"Morgan, let's go" said Penelope my best friend. Penelope is the one who saved me from the world. I don't have many friends so, that's why I am thankful to have met her in this life. "Morgan!" she said as I slipped on my shoes and went ahead. "Did you know the party from last week? They're throwing it again today so let's go there" she said smiling at me as we walked on the empty streets.

Without a thought I blurted out "what happens when we die?" she looked at me puzzled "what are you talking about?" she asked me while lighting up her cigarette "nothing" I said

We arrived at the party and there are so many people in here. All the popular kids are here and I assure you we don't belong here or more like I don't belong here. I am drinking some beer and some guys came onto me "Hi sweetie" one said as he touched my cheeks. This guys are bad news. "do you want to play with us?" the other one said "no leave me alone" I said as I slammed my cup on the counter top "not so fast Missy" a guy with a gun said "You are not going anywhere" he said as he pointed the gun at me. The weird thing is no one in the party is reacting with this scene. They just all went along and do their thing. "Please let me go" I said with tears falling out of my eyes. Where is Penelope?

A woman passed by me and I said to her "Please help me" but she just looked at me like I am some kind of prize. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON?

I saw Penelope walking towards our direction and theguy is still pointing the gun at me. "Nice job Aaron, I am sure master willbe happy" she said talking to the guy whose gun is pointing at me. Master?Aaron? Does Penelope know this guy? "Penelope? You know him? What is happening?"I said to her but she only replied "you'll know soon".
