"Where are you guys?" Naomi demand's through our mind link.

Strangely though, there is no one at the pack house. "We are at the pack house! Where is everyone?!" I ask while looking around.

Calling the 'pack house' a house would be an understatement, it is more like a pack mansion.

Our pack house is where the Alpha's family and the families of the Seven warriors stay.

It is located at a higher contour than the rest of the other four pack families, to guard our territories.

It is a two-story spread out wooden structure with layers of bamboo roofing, while the structure had a vintage touch to it.

It has been well kept and maintained over the years.

The flooring is of marble and granite at the lower level and wooden at the upper level.

It has an average of 39 rooms with common kitchen, dinning and a wide spacious opening where the ceremonies are usually held.

"I'm at the pink moon ceremony" Noami continues, "Aunt Zeela and Aunt Sarah are looking for you three, I told them that you were getting orchids from the forest, while Ohadh and Noah are on their way. That'll buy you guys some time. So you better get your ass here, before the drums start."

Wait..did she say...Drums?! I note.

We realized then, that the ceremony is being held at the sacred cliff.

"We better get dressed for it soon then." I say, looking at Ohadh and Noah.

We part ways.

I go up to my room, transform into my human form and quickly change into my black dress that reaches till my thighs.

I then tie up my black unruly hair, wear a red lip and lastly put on my ankle boots.

Before walking towards my full length mirror and look up to meet my gaze.

I didn't see an orphan with a broken past. I didn't see a scared little girl who was afraid to make friends at the school.

I see a strong-defiant black woman, like she is bulletproof.

My dress compliments my curves in all the right places and my green eyes have a sparkle to them today.

I walk out hoping to find Ohadh and Noah.

I spot the two of them, Ohadh sitting by the kitchen aisle and Noah leaning against it.

Noah has a chocolate brown t-shirt on, that brings out his amber colored eyes with blue ripped jeans and black sneakers. I can see a silver chain peeking out of his t-shirt. His brown hair is tied up in a bun accentuating his jaw line.

While Ohadh is wearing a Navy blue shirt that emphasizes his broad shoulders, he paired it with black jeans and white vans. He has short silver hair, that fall like he ran his fingers through them a couple of times to tame them.

I feel both their eyes on me as I approach them.

"You both clean up well."

Ohadh says "Not as well as you do."

"Well, I try"

"Shall we leave?" I ask, grabbing my jacket and the orchids.

"Ahh-- you look beauti-- I know a shorter route to get there." Noah says.

I smile at his attempt to compliment me.

"It's better to take the path familiar to us, besides it is the pink moon, we can never be too sure about what could be lurking around." Ohadh cuts in.

We hear the echoes of the drums thumping.

"We don't have much time, lets just take the shorter route before the enchantment spell completes." I decide.

"I will take the head start in that case then." Ohadh narrows his eyes about a millimeter, silence hovered over the three of us, thick and heavy.

Finally, not having the patience or the time to argue I comply.

"Fine" grumbling under my breath. Noah smiles like he just heard my thoughts. Ohadh leaves.

Me and Noah follow right after, racing and challenging each other along the way up until we reach a stretch of land dominated by bamboos.

Noah catches my hand and stops me. I give him a questioning look.

His line of sight then travels along the path "Its better we slow down till the odd unevenness of the ground seems firmer. It won't take long now."

I nod and he lets go of my hand.

As we start walking, I begin to think about my uncertain and rather disappointing day, not being able to have my first kill.

I unconsciously sigh.

Never mind, I think to myself and move on to see the beautiful sky, a shade of bright purple.

I breathe in the chilly air that still smells like rain. It's still drizzling softly.

"I'm sorry... I yelled at you at the forest, I know you've been looking forward to this day ever since we started training, I should've reminded you to tighten the knot, so don't beat yourself up over it" he looks at me with a warm smile.

I smile back before tackling him to the ground.

I catch him off guard and pin him to the ground while I straddle him in a lock hold.

He looks at me with shock until he realizes what he did.

"You should know better than to show me sympathy Noah, I was at fault and I'm not afraid to admit it." my voice deadly quiet, while pressing my knee hard against his throat.

He looks at me unfazed "And you should know better than wanting to kill your friend."

I shift my weight to my left knee resting on the ground and smirk "If I wanted you dead, you wouldn't be talking."

He knocks my right hand off, making me loose my balance "That's debatable don't you think, for someone who forgot to tighten a simple knot."

I only realize how close we are, when I see his eyes flickering down to my lips.

The wind blows my hair over his face and as Noah reaches to stroke them, I catch a scent I don't fully recognize.

I hold his hand with my attention shifted "Do you smell that?"

"Yes...I know you've changed your shampoo, smells good ..what is that?! Vanilla?"

"Not me, Noah" I roll my eyes while I get off of him.

And it hits me, I smell a Rogue.
