"I'm bisexual."

"What?"

"I, Daniel Orzechowski Urie, am attracted to both people of the male and female gender."

Brendon swallowed hard. "So am I."

"Bullshit."

"I am, Daniel. And I used to be in love with a boy named Ryan. Ryan Ross."

Before I knew it, my dad patted over towards the grand piano in our living room.

By the time I was your age, I'd give anything,

To fall in love truly, was all I could think,

That's when I met Ryan, the man of my dreams,

The most beautiful boy that I'd ever seen.

Brendon was looking up at the dusty chalkboard. He tried to understand the math that was written upon it. He needed to pass this class, or else he might not be able to graduate. And he couldn't think of it. His parent's almost found out about his sexuality, and there's no way he could further disappoint them by not going to college.

When the bell rang, Brendon packed up his books and decided to study in a nearby café, rather than to go home and be called a faggot by his older brother.

He got to the café, ordered a venti and attempted to figure out his stupid math homework. After about 7 cups of coffee, he headed to the bathroom. As soon as he got up, he bumped into the most beautiful boy he'd ever seen.

"Sorry." Brendon quickly replied.

"Oh it's no problem." The other boy responded.

Brendon noticed the University of Nevada textbook in his hand. Attempting to make conversation with this beautiful boy, he asked;

"University of Nevada? Are you from around here?"

"Actually I am, I'm still a freshman. I'm Ryan, by the way. Uh, what about you?" It was obvious the other boy was just as interested in Brendon as he was in him.

"I'm Brendon. Palo Verde, senior."

"Oh, so I guess we're sort of the same age."

"Um yeah. This seems like a longshot, but would you want to grab a coffee with me?" We're already at a café, you dingus.

"Sure, I guess."

He said, "Boy can I tell you a wonderful thing?

I can't help but notice, you're staring at me.

I know I shouldn't say this, but I really believe,

I can tell by your eyes that you're in love with me."

Brendon couldn't help but stare at Ryan as he sipped his eighth coffee, completely forgetting about his urgent need to use the bathroom.

"Why are you staring at me?" Ryan chuckled.

"What, I uh just-"

"My ex-boyfriend used to stare at me like that. When we first met."

"Oh, you're um gay?" Nice going Urie.

"Bi, actually." Ryan smiled.

"Oh okay. So am I." Brendon replied giving an awkward smile.

"You know, they say you can tell by the way a person's eyes look at you whether or not they're in love with you." Ryan blushed and gave a smug smile.
