"What..?"
She stood there, a perplexed look on her face.
"What did you say?"
Her eyes widened, frown Apparent on her face.
"It wasn't your fault...?"
Brows furrowing in frustration.
"She pushed YOU out of the way. It should of been you in the hospital.. Not my Mother."
The smaller of the two stood by the edge of the roof; a blank look in her doe eyes. A sparkle of pink gleaming through.
"I.. I didn't mean to- to get in the way.." Though it didn't look like it, she trembled. Her eyes slightly watered.
THUMP
She felt the wind through her hair. Her heart beat quickened. Was she flying? They looked up. It was the other girl, arms stretched out. It looked like she was pushing something.
She pushed her.
She's falling.
Guilty eyes.
Red Tears.
Broken smiles.
Why wasn't she screaming? The feeling of numbness came over her. Death. Wasn't that always gonna come someday?
She felt close to the ground, but the feeling of her body hitting the floor never came. Loud bangs could be heard. Like an explosion. Her eyes widened as a pair of arms caught her; Mid-air. Ruby red eyes stared back at her dark ones. Their Spikey ash blonde hair coming into view.
They landed; both of them tumbling off of each other. He grunted. Sounded like that hurt. She met his eyes again.
"Why did you-"
It was as if she couldn't control her body. She ran; hearing the shouts of the male behind her fading as she ran quicker.
She felt herself stop. Home? Looking up at her small White House and sighed.
"Why didn't he let me fall?"
