As the sun sinks over the cove town's watery horizon, people left for their homes, locking up shop. I leapt from the tree and arched upwards. My wings moved in a synchronized beat, a beautiful powerful motion. The moonlight leaked over my feathers and drizzled to the forest floor, as my shadow glanced the ground. I flew through the remaining clouds, towards the mass of earth in the sky. The once gleaming towers of glass were now grey, not even shining and withering away. She landed on one of the rooftops, glancing around at the dilapidated village, where happy family's did daily activities and had their fun. Children's laughter filled the air, along with chatting voices.
But now it was silent, the voices dead.
"Ahhh, I missed this place!" Blood leaked from her wrist, forming a tall black haired boy, with bright blue eyes. Maize.
"Where were you 3 hours ago?" I muttered, he glanced at me and smirked.
"Chillin' in your head, duh," he replied, all smart ass. The fucker. If he wasn't a part of my body system, I'd give him a beat down. But I can't, as that will result in my own headache.
"...You thinking about your parents again?" He asked, noticing my longing gaze towards the broken glass castle.
"Yeah...Guess I am..." I whispered. He patted my shoulder, "It's been 16 years, they're in a better place. They died fighting, protecting what they loved. Their kids."
I looked up at Maize, a guy who was usually a huge as whole, actually try to make me feel better. I smiled weakly. Maize melted into a stream of blood, and streamed back into my wrist in a purple black flow. Now, if I could just get Damn Levy out of my head, I thought, and pressed a Palm to my forehead as I had just used his nickname. Again. Why was he stuck in my head?
Leviathan:That girl, Rave, was on my mind all day. I skipped around Mizan's castle, like a happy little school boy who'd just been given candy. My fellow soldiers, Draven and Nasus, watched me with concern.
"Uhm...dude, Levy, are you high bro?" Draven asked, smiling and laughing a bit.
"Nope. In love," I mused, grinning.
"...My ass. You don't have a fucking heart!" Draven yelped, Nasus smiled. He never talked much. I smiled, but it quickly faded, as Marco approached us.
"Queen Mizan would like to speak you, Leviathan," the gruff voice barked. I flicked the spittle from cheek, agitated.
"Great..." The boys gave me a hopeful look, and I trudged down the large halls, coming to a pair of large golden laced doors. I pushed them open forcefully, and walked in, yelling, "Aight, what you want?!"
Mizan growled, making me straighten my demeanor.
"I mean, Yes, my lady?"
"Have you finished you assignment?"She asked creepily with a monotone voice, and blank expression.
"...Uh, no, about that-"
"You've failed to complete an assignment, and you dare to name a request?!"
"...I'd like to have my mission repealed. Mistress."
"Repeal from your task?! There is no honor in that!"
"But, ma'am, I-"
"Shut your mouth! Eliminate the black blooded pink hybrid or I'll have Your head instead!"
And with that, the throne room doors slammed shut, as I was forcefully shoved into the hall.
