chapter 1 a new beginning.

I wake up. I look over at my clock, realizing I woke up late. "Ugh." I say to myself. I quickly grab a pair of Hollister jeans and a white crop top, from Forever 21. I force myself into the bathroom, and straighten my hair, and brush my teeth.

I now just realize its adoption day. Yay.. Well, you see, I have been adopted here and there, but they make up some lame ass excuse for returning me. Such as "She talks back, and doesn't listen." when I barely talk, and they sit around smoking all day. So, The probability of me getting adopted is low. My parents died in a tragic way. They were killed by a drunk driver. Both in the car, although I was at day care. I was only five, but I remember it like yesterday. I remember being taken to the orphanage. I remember crying, and not talking or eating for days. I would wonder why it was them, and not me.

My best friend approaches me with a grin a mile long.
"Katie! Ariana Grande is coming to adopt!!"
I only knew of her because of Allie telling me all about how pretty she was, and how she can do high pitched notes called 'whistle tones'. She seemed cool, but I don't know. Let's hope I get picked..

So, afterwards, I went downstairs and ate the same old Pancakes that Ms. Lora made. (She's our cafeteria lady) She's about the only nice one, that is besides Allie.
So after thanking Ms. Lora, I was ordered to stand in a single file line with the other children my age. As I got up to line up, I was laughed at. I was OK with that, for it had happened before. I just smiled back, and got over it.

There was ooo's and ahh's. I wondered what it was and tried to look, but Haley blocked my way.
"Ey, its Ariana Grande! YO ARIANA COME ADOPT ME!"
Ariana looked at me and smiled. She winked at me as she came back.
Was I going to be adopted?
Who knows, she probably was just winking at Haley.
Besides. Why would someone adopt me, Katie Rose Bishop? Suddenly, I was called down to the main office. As I passed, people were crying, thinking I was being adopted. Haley looked like she was really mad, and about to burst. As I waddled past her, she whispered. "Slut." I just smiled back and said, "Thanks."
I made my way to the office successfully, without dying. I knocked on the door, and heard Mrs. Dort say, "Come in."

I saw Ariana, with a smiled placed on her face like glue. "Thats her, thats who I want."
