Chapter 6

||Alyssa's POV ||

I woke up the next day with an empty spot next to me. I guess Ross got up and got breakfast or something. So I went downstairs and pretty much everyone was already up. Justin was sitting on the couch with Rocky and Ross watching a football game. Riker was in the recliner and Rydel and Mark were on the love seat. If your wondering what the month is it's August. I don't have to go to school either because when I moved in with the Lynches Stormie wanted me to be homeschooled. Also we haven't heard from my dad since yesterday but I'm hoping we won't see him ever again because I'm really scared of him after what has happened between us in the past few years since moms passed away. I still think about her everyday and always smile every time I do. She was a great woman. I miss her lots.

As I walked into the living room I heard many good morning and hellos. I said those back to everyone and made my way into the kitchen to see Stormie cleaning the kitchen.

"Would you like me to help?" I offered.

"No , no sweetie it's okay, but thanks anyway."

"Anytime." I smile.

I walked back into the living room and Ross called me over to sit on his lap. I did as told and sat on his lap. He wrapped his arms around me and laid his head on my shoulder.

He kissed my check and asked "hey princess, sleep well?"

"Yep, but I told you to wake me up when you got up."

"Well I wanted to let you sleep. You looked so peaceful and cute I didn't want to bother you."

"Awe thanks babe."

"It's what I do." he smirked and I laughed.

By now everyone was out of the room doing their own thing cleaning or whatever so it was just me and Ross.

"So what do you want to do today?" Ross asks.

"Well I've been thinking and I really want to go to the movies to see that new Expelled movie with Cameron Dallas in it and I also want to take a walk on the beach."

"Wow you really have been thinking." He laughed. "Well go get ready and let's go."

"Are you serious?"

"Babe since when am I not serious?"

"Umm pretty much like all of the time." I laughed and so did he.

"Whatever just go get ready" he smiled.

I went to my room and decided to wear my green shorts, black tank top, black converses, and a cute green necklace. I straightened my hair and applied a little makeup. I don't wear a lot like those girls who look like clowns they wear so much. those girls make me want to barf. They are so fake and it's like they have no self confidence.

Ross and I arrived at the theater hand in hand and Ross got our tickets and popcorn and stuff. We went in and watched the movie. About 2 hours later it was over with and it was really good. I'd watch it 50 more times if I could.

After the movie it was about 5:00 o-clock and I was hungry.

"Baby girl where do you want to eat?"

"It doesn't matter you choose."

"Okay uh how about The Mexican grill?"

"Sounds greatness."

"Greatness?" Ross asked confused.

"Yeah it's my word. Well it might've already been created but I love using it."

"Your so weird." he said and laughed.

"But you love meeeeeee." I sang.

"Yes indeed."

After dinner it was getting dark and Ross took me for a walk on the beach just like I requested. It was perfect. We walked and talked and every now and then we'd kiss.

We went home and Duck Dynasty was on, my favorite show of ALL time other than Austin and Ally of course.

It was the one where John Luke and Sadie go to the dentist and John Luke acts completely insane because he's on the loopy gas or whatever. I guess you could say I'm a little obsessed. We watched re-runs all night.

"I'm tired." I yawned.

By now it was like 11:00 and I was super duper tired. It was a long but perfect day.

"Well let's go to sleep." Ross said and turned off the light and got under the covers. I climbed beside him and snuggled into him. Ross set the tv timer and we watched it for a few minutes and the darkness took over and I was out like a light.

A/N It may be a little short and boring and I'm really sorry. They take a while to write. Also Expelled is on Netflix not in theaters if you were wondering. Just pretend it is out in this story and I know the dates are off but oh well. sorry about that. Duck Dynasty is my absolute favorite show. Thank you for your reads I appreciate it have a good night.
