Movie meets Series: A Random Ninjago Fanfic!

A/n: Okay, I haven't watched the LEGO Ninjago movie in almost a year, so I don't remember much about it. These characters are based on my headcanon. So, the way they behave may be different from the movie. I decided that a little treat for my readers was due, because of my slow updating in my other books. Alright, enough talk, let's get on with it!

M!Lloyd's POV:

"Oh no, it's Garmadon!"

"Thanks, Lloyd," everyone in my class says in unison.

"Can I go to the bathroom?" I ask my teacher. She rolls her eyes.

"You mean 'may I' go to the bathroom. You know what, just go."

I hop into my locker and the other ninja hop in after me.

"Pupils, there appears to be a problem in our base. A weird portal has appeared a few minutes ago," Sensei Wu says.

"But, Garmadon! He's attacking!" Nya exclaims, pointing to her mech. "I'll stay behind, you guys investigate." Before we can protest, Nya's already gone.

"I don't know guys- what if there's something scary down there?" Jay whimpers.

I sigh. "Can't be worse than my father." I hop into the portal first, with my eyes closed. The rest of the ninja hop in after me, and the portal seals shut.

I expect a heavy impact- but to my surprise, the fall wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I spotted land a few moments after hopping inside of the portal. I embrace myself for the fall- but it never came. I open my eyes, and Sensei Wu was there? Sensei Wu catches the other ninja as well.

"Aren't you guys looking for Morro? Why did you just fly out of a portal?" Sensei asks, with a confused look on his face.  Sensei Wu looks a bit different, though. His beard is much shorter, and his voice is a higher pitch than usual. "Uncle...?"

"Sensei, I thought you and Nya decided to stay behind! Also, where did you get that ship?! It's so freaking cool!" Kai exclaims, looking around.

"Where did I get this ship? We've always had it- you're kidding, right?" Sensei scratches his once-long beard.

"We've always had this ship? Why didn't you tell us?!" Jay exclaims, bouncing up and down. "It's so cool!"

Cole stays silent, listening to music. Typical Cole.

Before Sensei Wu can respond, a scratchy radio signal interrupts him. "Sensei, are you there? We need you to get us- Morro has the Sword of Sanctuary!"

"What do you mean, 'we'? The rest of the ninja are already on the Bounty with me, Nya."

"They're with me, Sensei! And we need your help!" 

Kai gasps. "Is that Nya?? I thought she stayed behind!" Kai and I exchange glances- we're both thinking the exact same thing: what the hell is going on!?

Sensei Wu shakes his head. "Let's pick up the ninja- and we'll get to the bottom of this later," he says. With a pull of a lever, the floating ship accelerates extremely quickly, causing my team and me to stumble backward.

"Woah, slow down! Jay and I almost flew off the ship!" Cole shouts, taking off his headphones, finally. We all grab the nearest metal pole.

In minutes, the ship finally slows down. I cautiously let go of the metal bar- hoping that my balance won't fail me. Sensei Wu gives us a few confused looks before landing the ship.

Five fruit-colored ninja- resembling each of us, hop aboard the ship. They look almost identical.

"Sensei, who are they?!" Jay's twin shouts, pointing at us. "Are they... us??"
