It was February. Angelina lived in southern America. The air was chilly. Angelina was finishing up winter sports; she did indoor track and basketball. After practice she would meet up with her boyfriend, Jameson. They had started dating right after her birthday.
Angelina has just turned 17. It was a scary thing for her. Almost being 18. The whole growing up thing was hard for her. She wanted to be more independent, but she also was scared to be on her own.
Many of Angelina's friends loved Jameson. He was a funny guy, and he was also pretty popular in her high school. Angelina liked him a lot, but she knew she was only dating him just to date him. He was going to college in the fall, and she had put up a wall because she knew he wasn't always going to be there. Angelina did this a lot, she hid certain emotions and wouldn't let herself get attached to people easily. Angelina had a past and not many people knew about it.
By the time March arrived Angelina would flake on Jameson. They pretty much stopped going on dates and just stopped talking all together. Jameson was very sad and Angelina wasn't even bothered. She was ready to let him go. She knew he wasn't the one. She just didn't know how to tell him. He was a very sweet guy and his family loved Angelina. So Angelina did ,what she does with most of her problems, ignored them. She ignored Jameson, she was too scared to just straight up tell him. He finally realized what she was doing. And Jameson let Angelina go, after being pretty much ignored for weeks. Jameson's friends now hated Angelina, but she didn't care because she knew they didn't understand.
