Chapter 2-My Light And Stars

Mike's POV
When I entered my classroom, there was something different. There was the new girl,she was different from the other girls. She wasn't like my friends:Paige, Alison, Meagan, Dawn and Sophie. She wasn't a Mean girl like them. She wasn't wearing a lot of makeup and her clothes were simple. She had light brown hair and green eyes. When she turned around I tried to avoid her and then I sat in my desk. In that moment I felt like a bad person.
Faith's POV
When the new boy sat in his desk I started feeling kinda sad, he didn't even said hi to me. Well like everyone else in this empty room. I presented myself and I just said my name and where I was from. The teacher told me that I could seat next to Mike Sinclair. In that right moment I knew that he was the guy that just entered my new classroom. I sat next to him and then he turned around. I started thinking if I was the problem and I really was. I was the new girl in town and what was I expecting? That we were going to be best friends? I was just daydreaming about everything. The time passed very slowly and when I tried to talk to Mike, he would just turn around and talk with Ian and Luke. When the lesson was finally over, I looked at him one last time and for the first time our eyes met. We just stared at each other until the Mean girls hugged him and they left with him. A few people stayed in the classroom:Gilbert, Ariana, Griffin,Blake, Mason and Spencer until they packed everything and they left me alone. I stayed for a few minutes in my classroom quiet until 3 boys and 2 girls came over. They were:Tyler, Anthony, Caleb, Anne and Ashley. They told me to follow them and so I did. We went outside to have lunch. They both started smoking and then they passed me a cigarette. I swear I never smoke in all of my life but I had to find a few friends and so I did. They were very funny and I never thought that I was going to find cool friends as them. After we spent a lot of time together I decided to search for Mike. I know that he was literally avoiding me but I wanted to try to talk to him. When I finally found him he was talking with the Mean girls, I started thinking that maybe I could talk to them. I sat next to them and they started staring at me until Mike finally said something.
"HI, what do u want new girl" Mike said.
They all started laughing while for me it was like a knife that passed through my chest.
"I just wanted to talk to u guys" I said.
"Okay, like what?" Mike said
"I just want to know u guys, especially were u avoiding me?"
"Nah"
In that moment the bell rang and we had to come back to class. We got up and our eyes met, he was like a drug for me, those eyes started being my addiction. He started being the light in the morning and the starts in the night.
